Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brittany Osborne. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Brittany, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Confidence and self-esteem are definitely things I’m still working on. I don’t always feel confident, even if it might look that way from the outside—it’s honestly one of my biggest struggles. But I’ve found a lot of confidence through my career, being able to build something meaningful, and through motherhood. I’m so proud to be my kids’ mom and of the people they’re becoming. Knowing I’ve had a hand in that gives me strength in other parts of my life.
I’ve also learned that confidence can come from making tough choices. Every time I’ve trusted myself and made a hard decision, it reminded me that I already knew the right path deep down—I just had to be brave enough to take it. Our intuition is powerful, and when we listen to it, it builds confidence. That self-trust has been huge for me, along with proving to myself that I can do things I once doubted.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My name is Brittany, and I own Studio Skin by Brittany in Arvada, Colorado. I’ve been an esthetician for six years and have owned my business for three. I specialize in acne, but I truly love treating all skin concerns.
What I love most about this work isn’t just the skin, it’s the people I get to meet. My studio is a place where clients can truly relax, feel cared for, and focus on their self-care without any judgment. Helping someone leave feeling good in their skin, and giving them a moment just for themselves, is what makes this work so special to me.
I’m always excited to be evolving, learning, and meeting new people. Growing my business isn’t just about skincare, it’s about creating connections that matter. My clients teach me and I teach them. It’s the best!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are perseverance, hard work, and purpose-driven passion. Perseverance has helped me push through challenges and keep moving forward even when things felt uncertain. Hard work has allowed me to build my business and earn the trust of my clients. I’ve learned that nothing is handed to you, and effort always matters. And my passion for this work, for helping people feel cared for and confident in their skin, has been a constant motivator. If you’re in something just for the money, I truly don’t think you succeed long term or feel happy long term. You have to be in it for your passion. Along the way, staying open to learning and evolving has kept me growing both personally and professionally.
For anyone early in their journey, my advice would be: stay committed and don’t give up when things get tough, put in the work even when it feels hard, and let your purpose and passion drive you. Knowledge, passion, persistence and honesty will carry you farther than you think.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
Wow, that’s a great question. If I only had a decade to live, I’d spend it with the people who bring me the most happiness. My kids, of course, and anyone who makes life feel meaningful. Life, to me, is about love, learning, and being there for others- and letting them be there for you!
I’d travel as much as I could, soak in new experiences, savor every moment, and live in the present. Maybe work less. I’d make a point to let the people I care about know how I feel about them, instead of letting opportunities slip by. Life is too short to assume people know, and expressing appreciation, love, or gratitude can make such a difference for them and for you. I try to practice that now, but if I only had a decade, it would be something I’d prioritize even more.
I would also make a conscious effort not to let myself get overwhelmed or stressed over things that don’t matter. Truly, we never know if we only have ten years, or five, or even less. Life isn’t worth being unhappy, negative, or letting small things get you down.
So yeah, I’d focus on spreading love, cherishing relationships, and making the most of every experience! I’d live it being happy!
