Meet Brittney Nicole Broadwater

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Brittney Nicole Broadwater a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittney Nicole, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Actually, it took years for me to truly develop confidence and high self-esteem. Oftentimes, my family and friends would see things in me that I did not see, but once I partnered with God and came into agreement with who He says I am, I began to operate in confidence and high self-esteem. After you’ve subjected yourself to sub-par experiences, you become fed up, realizing you are your own worst enemy. Master the relationship with yourself, and a lot of things change!

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
As of now, I’m an educator. I have been in the field of education for 13 years and have served in a variety of roles, from teacher to assistant principal, literacy coach, and consultant. In addition, I am the creator and host of Healin’ Beyond Dealin’ Podcast w/ Brittney Nicole- a podcast geared toward the empowerment and encouragement of women. I have authored books- It is Finished: A Devotional of Unadulterated Truth and Healin’ Beyond Dealin’ Adult Activity Book, etc. Currently, I have a site selling my podcast paraphernalia, host events, and a plethora of things.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The most impactful skills and/or areas of knowledge for me have been developing effective communication skills (written and verbal), learning new tech tools, and building relationships. First, I have learned to communicate effectively via conversation, email, texts, posts, etc. Often, it is not what we say but how we say it. I learned this through my own experiences but also watching how others operate with people- the good, the bad and the ugly. Secondly, learning different tech tools have been tremendously helpful on my journey- in the classroom, hosting events, marketing my products. Being knowledgeable of the advancement of tech tools is key in all aspects of life. It is a skill I have taught myself throughout the years, and it has proven effective for me and every endeavor of mine. Lastly, building relationships is a skill that is imperative, and it is an art. Because of the relationships I have built with others, I’ve been able to get a lot accomplished for not only myself but also others as well. Building relationships includes but is not limited to expressing love, authenticity, respect, empathy, compassion, etc. It really pays to invest in relationships with others.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Yes, I am always looking to network and collaborate with others. I am always seeking out women with powerful testimonies, businesses, and/or anything that is sure to impact my podcast audience. I am always looking to collaborate with other women but would encourage them to check out my content to ensure they are a good fit for my audience. I can be reached via email at [email protected] or Facebook- Brittney Nicole and Healin’ Beyond Dealin’ Podcast w/ Brittney Nicole. I look forward to any connections and opportunities to collaborate.
