Meet Brittny King

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brittny King. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Brittny, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

Hi! I’m really thrilled to be here today, and I appreciate the opportunity to share my story and insights with your readers. Let’s dive right into the heart of it all – purpose. Discovering my purpose has been an incredible journey.

For me, it all started with my values. Around a decade ago, during my time at Lululemon, I had the privilege of learning how to align my life with my core values. This transformative experience laid the foundation for everything that followed. As I began living my life in accordance with what truly mattered to me, my purpose gradually revealed itself.

My purpose is deeply rooted in helping others find their own sense of purpose and fulfillment. It’s about empowering individuals to break through their self-imposed limitations and live the life they genuinely desire. This realization has become the driving force behind everything I do.

I believe that when we align our actions with our values and embrace the innate desires within us, we can unlock our true potential and make a meaningful impact on the world. Helping others discover their purpose and guiding them along their own transformative journeys is a tremendous privilege and one that brings me immense joy and fulfillment.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m Brittny King, and when I reflect on who I am at my core, it’s a profound question that leads me to embrace my values and live life as an adventure. Whether I’m strolling through Costco or embarking on a challenging ten-mile trek in the French Alps, I believe that life is meant to be experienced, and I strive to embrace every moment fully. Infusing fun into everything I do is a vital part of my philosophy.

Within the tapestry of my life, I wear multiple hats. First and foremost, I am a wife to an incredible husband who believes in me more than I believe in myself. He is my rock and the unwavering support that fuels my drive. Additionally, I am a proud mother to my joyous daughter, Ellie. She is my driving force and the reason I am dedicated to serving others daily. As a mother, I aspire to set an example for Ellie, showing her that she can forge her own path in a world that often tries to dictate who we should be.

So, what do I do? I have the privilege of empowering ambitious women to live a life they never feel the need to escape from.

My specialization lies in working with women who crave more from life but are determined to find success without succumbing to the pressures of hustling or burning out. I focus on helping women reinvent their definition of success, guiding them to discover what they genuinely want out of life, and providing the support and guidance they need to transform those desires into reality.

Ultimately, my goal is to be the ultimate connector, bringing people together and fostering an environment where women can thrive, grow, and become the best versions of themselves. Life is too precious to be spent merely existing, and I am passionate about helping others embrace their unique journeys and live a life filled with purpose, fulfillment, and joy

I lead a group coaching program where I connect like-minded women and help them create the life and results they want. Through this program, I assist women in redefining what success means to them, empowering them to go after it, and providing them with the tools to execute their goals without succumbing to the pressures of hustling.

Overall, my mission is to make a positive impact by empowering women to rewrite their stories, pursue their dreams, and create a life that brings them true happiness and fulfillment.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

If I had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, I would say resourcefulness, coachability, and the combination of optimism and resilience are the top three that truly matter.

Firstly, resourcefulness is a crucial quality to cultivate. It’s about being able to find creative solutions, think outside the box, and adapt to changing circumstances. When faced with challenges or obstacles, resourcefulness allows you to tap into your ingenuity and find alternative paths to success. It’s the ability to navigate through uncertainty and make the most out of the resources available to you.

Secondly, coachability plays a significant role in personal and professional growth. Being coachable means having an open mindset and a willingness to learn from others. It’s about recognizing that you don’t have to figure everything out on your own and being receptive to guidance and feedback. Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. Embracing a coachable attitude allows you to accelerate your progress and make meaningful strides toward your goals.

Lastly, optimism and resilience go hand in hand and are essential qualities to cultivate. Optimism is a powerful mindset that allows you to maintain a positive outlook and believe in the possibility of achieving your aspirations. It helps you overcome setbacks, stay motivated, and see challenges as opportunities for growth. Resilience, on the other hand, is the ability to bounce back from adversity and persevere in the face of difficulties. It’s the inner strength that enables you to adapt, learn from failures, and keep moving forward. Optimism fuels resilience, and resilience reinforces optimism, creating a powerful combination that helps you navigate through life’s ups and downs with a positive and determined mindset.

Additionally, it’s important to emphasize the power of asking for help. Recognizing that you don’t have to figure everything out on your own is crucial. Sometimes, taking the first step towards success means reaching out and seeking assistance. Being willing to ask for help demonstrates humility and a growth mindset. Remember, there is a solution to every problem, and learning to lean into discomfort, plan for obstacles, and develop strategies to overcome them are key components of achieving success and freedom.

Changing your relationship with failure is also a critical factor in succeeding. Embracing the idea that being wrong or not knowing it all is okay allows you to grow and expand your capabilities. Being open to learning from failures and using them as stepping stones to progress can lead to significant breakthroughs. It’s about being humble, adaptable, and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

By developing resourcefulness, coachability, and cultivating the combination of optimism and resilience, and by being willing to ask for help and embracing a healthy relationship with failure, you can pave the way for personal and professional success.Having these qualities will not only help you to overcome challenges but also allow you to reach your full potential and succeed in any venture you undertake.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shout out for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

Oh absolutely! I want to give a massive shoutout to my amazing husband. He has been my biggest fan and supporter from day one. Even when I didn’t have faith in myself, he wholeheartedly believed in me. When I made the decision to start a business aimed at empowering others and helping them find fulfillment, he never questioned me. He’s my rock, my better half. While he may not understand all the intricacies of what I do, he’s always had my back, no matter what. I’m incredibly grateful for his support and love.

I also want to recognize the incredible impact of my coaches along the way. They have been an absolute game-changer in my journey. Each coach has this ability to spot the blocks I couldn’t see and has been instrumental in developing my emotional resilience and mental strength.

Let’s face it—success is all about having the right mindset and the emotional capacity to handle setbacks. Setbacks are part of the journey, and failures are stepping stones to success. But without the emotional tools to deal with failures, you can find yourself stuck or spinning your wheels indefinitely. Coaching has equipped me with the necessary skills to confront challenges head-on and bounce back stronger. I’m beyond fortunate to had so many incredible mentors and guides on this path of personal and professional growth.
