Meet Britton Hein

We recently connected with Britton Hein and have shared our conversation below.

Britton, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
Having faith and patience. I believe in good of things and that it’s important to stay positive and hope for the best. I would say optimism comes from my mother. It’s important to believe.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am an independent Film Producer and Talent manager based in Los Angeles, California. I currently represent a social media influencer actor.. I’ve been in development in several independent feature films at the same time. I love what I do and working with amazing colleagues and Talent. in development producing a true story motion picture about three deaf high school athletes.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities that are important to me, including having time management, and being on time, and also about being positive, and in retrospect, my journey is never giving up and having faith and hope and to enjoy and trust the process. Especially in the motion industry so many people rush through the process, and if it was easy, everybody would be able to make movies. it’s very important during this journey to slow down and enjoy the ride and work hard and appreciate it so when you get to the destination of making a movie or whatever you do, you will enjoy where you’ve come from and it makes the success so much sweeter.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
Support my passion and hobby, when I was young. I always wanted to be a filmmaker or producer, and when I was in middle school I bought my first camcorder with the help of my stepfather. I had a lawnmowing business in the neighborhood and all the money that I made I paid monthly payments to my step father for purchasing me a Panasonic camcorder.. that camera allowed me to make movies in the neighborhood with my friends and begin ENG freelance news work out of the bay area for the local television stations and so I was the first Videographer to shoot our high school football games.. I always loved movies and a camera was very impactful and later after graduating high school I knew I wanted to go to film school and my mom was a big supporter of that and helped me make that transition to Los Angeles from the Bay Area area. Having belief in me and supporting my passion was truly remarkable and I’m so appreciative.
