Meet Brooke McPoyle

We were lucky to catch up with Brooke McPoyle recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Brooke, you’ve got such an interesting story, but before we jump into that, let’s first talk about a topic near and dear to us – generosity. We think success, happiness and wellbeing depends on authentic generosity and empathy and so we’d love to hear about how you become such a generous person – where do you think your generosity comes from?

My name is Brooke, and my generosity comes from what felt like a miracle in my own body.

After years of training as a Division 1 golfer, I struggled with chronic hip pain and inflammation that no therapy could fix. When I finally discovered a way to restore my fascia and bring flow back into that area, it felt like a gift—like something sacred I had to share.

As a breathwork teacher, I’d already been developing Mighty Breath techniques to help singers detox their lungs, strengthen their diaphragm, and increase vocal stamina. But once I began experimenting with fascia flow in my classes, I noticed something remarkable: my clients were dropping into deeper brainwave states faster and with more ease. Their stress unwound. Their creativity returned. Their posture changed, their presence changed—everything started to tune.

It became obvious to me that fascia, breath, and brainwaves were connected in a rhythm I could no longer unsee. Watching that transformation in others—especially high-performing artists, athletes, and leaders—never gets old. It’s fun. It’s sacred. And it feels like a gift I was given… that I get to keep giving.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m Brooke McPoyle, and I’m the founder of Musical Breathwork—a practice and philosophy that helps people tune their bodies like instruments by combining fascia release, breath training, and brainwave optimization. My background is eclectic: I was a Division 1 golfer, a classically trained singer, and I’ve spent the last decade teaching breathwork and studying fascia, frequency, and flow. All of that converged into the system I now teach.

What makes Musical Breathwork special is we train fascia, breath, and brainwaves together—because they are together. My work helps people move from stress and stagnation to radiance, clarity, and high performance. And we do it in a way that’s gentle, simple, and incredibly potent.

Right now, we have just launched our Gamma Seeker Broadcast, our third certification program begins in November, and a few flagship 4k courses that teach people how to become mighty in their own lives—whether they’re artists, athletes, wellness professionals, or simply seeking relief. We’re also building a community of “Gamma Seekers”—people who are ready to operate from their highest frequency, not just recover.

Everything is frequency. And when your fascia is tuned, your breath is mighty, and your brain is coherent—you become Mighty.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three qualities that shaped my journey most were curiosity, pattern recognition, and devotion to the unseen.

Curiosity led me into every breakthrough—from asking “Why does my hip still hurt?” to “What if fascia, breath, and brainwaves are all part of the same rhythm?” I didn’t just accept protocols—I questioned them, reimagined them, tested them. For anyone early in their journey, nurture your questions. Follow your fascinations like a trail of breadcrumbs (with more wonder than expectation).

Pattern recognition came from years of playing in tournaments, training breath, performing, and stress responses in myself and my clients. The body is always communicating. When you learn to see what’s repeating—and what’s missing—you start to map truth. So train your perception. Slow down. See more. What you notice will change your how to you coach and perform.

And lastly, devotion to the unseen—that quiet commitment to something you can feel before you can prove. Whether it was sound, tension, or flow, I trusted a deeper intelligence in the body long before science caught up. My advice: don’t wait for permission to believe in what you know. Embody it. Experiment. Let your lived experience become an exercised path of authority.

Mucusless Diet by Arnold Ehret ; Anatomy Trains by Tom Meyers ; The Endless Web; These books outline sequence of detox, the engineering of our collagen scaffolding and the chronological patterning of the beginning of life. There are 15 other books in the field of breath, fascia, sound and neurology that have reshaped my undertanding of human potential. What I see now is the body can heal itself from the inside out if we follow particular sequences, that empower our tissues to change, with respect to tension and how it changes.
