Meet Bryan Toton

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Bryan Toton. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Bryan below.

Bryan, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I found my purpose when I came to Christ. There are so many different methods we evaluate success. It may be a marriage, a home, wealth creation, success in a career, all of the different places we can travel before we die… None of that actually matters in the grand scheme of things. I was one that believed in the American Dream. I thought I needed those things to be happy. It wasn’t until I finally read the Bible that I realized that I am fully loved by God, and He desires a relationship with me. The one all-powerful God of the heavens and earth sent His son to die on a cross for me so that I could have eternal communion with Him. My purpose is to glorify Him with all of my gifts and talents that he has bestowed upon my life.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I launched Eat for Prosperity as a nonprofit organization to teach others how to take care of their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. I invented an easy to learn, anti-inflammatory diet, called the KetoGenetic Deflame Diet, that has the capability to prevent and reverse chronic illnesses such as heart disease, autoimmune disease, diabetes, and even cancer. I launched a website with a broad view of introducing others to the microbiome, how to portion foods properly, which foods to eliminate from diet, and other fields of research that may be applicable to living a healthy lifestyle.

I recently began public speaking doing communion seminars. My vision is to create healthy conscious communities centered on Christ. This will be done by using a simple, anti-inflammatory communion bread that has the capability to unify a congregation into the body of Christ. The church is one bread, and we should strive to be inclusive as a church and share one another’s burdens by partaking in the same communion bread.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Leadership – be the person you want others to emulate. I want everyone to eat healthy, so I will never moderate to prove to others that it is possible to be 100% committed to improving your lifestyle. Listening – asking others penetrating questions will help you understand the pain points in peoples lives. If you are seeking to solve a problem, learn what that problem is, and discover solutions to resolve the problems.
Love – love people, love the journey, and most importantly, love God with all of your heart, your mind, and your strength. You will face trials of many sorts, and you may even be persecuted for it, but you must persevere. You will only persevere if you love.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
Reading the Bible every day has provided me with faith-based wisdom. What I mean by that is, I stopped relying on myself to be the savior of my story, and instead, I allowed an all knowing and powerful God to be in control of my life. I bring him all of my stress, prayers, praise, and concerns. He never charges me for bringing Him questions, instead, He rewards me with discovering the solutions through the divine power of the Holy Spirit. There are no coincidences in life. If you listen carefully, and abide in His word, God will speak very clearly to you in a variety of ways. He will sanctify you to conform to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. He will replenish your strength and renew your purpose. He will crown you with the crown of life if you abide in His vine.
