Meet Bryan Tucker

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bryan Tucker. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Bryan , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
Honestly speaking, I would say that my resilience comes from a place of fear. Growing up their was always this sense of high expectation. As a kid i never wanted to disappoint my family, so I strived to be the best at everything i could be. I would also say that Genes have a part to play in it as well. considering my family are a jack of all trades, and i am the pillar of my family.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
As someone whom would like to do it all. I’m currently focused on building my plate form and clientele. Next would be honing my skills in videography, video edits, expanding my knowledge in the world of culinary. lasting I would be learning how to properly invest in my future.

I’ve always had a passion for the camera whether I was in front of it or behind it. being in front of the camera makes me want to give a show, being behind the camera, I love bringing people visions to life.

Here lately I’ve been working with a few coming up artist, fashion designers, along with receiving a bit of guidance from a great mentor here in Atlanta. With Atlanta I also had the opportunity to partner with a few nonprofits & businesses for example: Noah’s arch, Fin & Feathers, Juneteenth New York, and vote for quality, with Photography and media marketing.

My passion for cooking goes back to birth, In my family there was nothing a meal couldn’t fix. I enjoyed helping my grandmother and mother when ever it came time to cook a big dinner for the family. I love it so much, After moving to Atlanta I decided to make a name for myself. by meal prep for other people, creating a small, passive income for myself. I then plan to start a small cooking show on my youtube channel displaying my Journey of cooking.

I will eventually get started with making music along with a few other things, However, i’ll take it one step at a time.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The most important quality in my journey was being persistent with everything i did. I wont say i didn’t have my down moments, but i’d rather have a down in the moment than to be down forever.

Unlike talent skills can be learned and picked up in more than one way. I honestly would say it’s all about being aware of what you currently can do vs where you would want to be. Don’t get lost in the things you can’t do because that’s a lingering list.

When taking your journey always keep in mind to work smarter not harder. It’s important to know the market your working in, knowing what others are doing in that specific market, lastly what makes you different from everyone else.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
The number one obstacle I’m currently facing is properly investing into my passions and small business, so that it does not feel like I’m robbing myself. I would also love to get a assistant. As a one man band i tend to get a little lost in my work load and scheduling.

When it comes to events I am now getting assistance from a good friend of mine, however I’m still handing the majority of all the behind scenes work. I’ve gotten a better system to help with my scheduling so that I’m not missing anything.

My next big focus would be hiring a trainee to pass on my knowledge but also help me along with my journey as i continue to grow.
