We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Bussdown PESOS a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Bussdown with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My work ethic come from me wanting to go hard as I can at all times. I have to much to lose to just quit . It’s a lot of competition going on but I focus on myself and move at my own pace.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m an artist from Los Angeles, California. The most exciting thing about me being an artist is have actual fans/supporters. The supporters keep me motivated to keep going hard . I’ll be dropping back to back singles with exclusive visuals on my YouTube channel . I also have 3 albums dropping 2026.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

When I first started recording music i made sure all my songs were mixed & mastered with the best quality those type of things matter because you want to make sure your sound come out correctly. People just think it’s just I write lyrics every single day even when I’m busy . You have to practice & work on your flow you don’t want to sound like nobody else. Once you keep working on your own rhythm you will catch on . The key is to keep practicing & working , also everything cost a lot as an artist you will have to come out of pocket for everything visual, studio time , photo shoot .etc

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

For the past 12 months I’ve been recording tons of unreleased music & also working on exclusive content for my platform . A lot of crazy movies in the making . Yall about to see what happens in a few weeks .
