Meet Caleb Rouse

We were lucky to catch up with Caleb Rouse recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Caleb, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.

My optimism is deeply rooted in my faith in Jesus Christ. He gives me hope and purpose, even when life feels overwhelming. There have been seasons where circumstances seemed bleak, but through my relationship with Him, I’ve learned to see beyond the immediate challenges. Jesus gives me clarity and vision, showing me that no matter how difficult the situation, there’s always a way forward. He has never failed to provide me with the strength and solutions I need to navigate through.

One of the most transformative lessons I’ve learned is that I can only control what is within my power. This realization has freed me from unnecessary stress and has helped me focus my energy on what truly matters. For example, when I experienced heartbreak and rejection early in life, it would have been easy to spiral into discouragement. Instead, I leaned into my faith, trusted God’s plan, and made intentional choices to move forward.

Another key to my optimism has been setting attainable goals for my future and breaking them down into daily steps. Whether it’s working on my physical health, deepening my relationships, or pursuing my calling, I’ve seen how small, consistent actions lead to meaningful progress. This habit has given me confidence, not just in where I’m headed, but in the journey itself.

In the end, my optimism isn’t about ignoring hard realities; it’s about seeing them through the lens of God’s promises. He has been my anchor, my guide, and the source of hope that fuels me every day.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

What I love most about what I do is getting to work alongside my incredible wife, Stefanie. Together, we feel so purposeful in the work God has called us to do. Whether we’re coaching clients or sharing our message online, we pour our hearts into helping others experience freedom, healing, and the love they’ve been waiting for. It’s deeply rewarding to invest in the lives of our clients, guiding them to overcome the barriers that have kept them from finding healthy, godly relationships in the past.

One of the most special moments in our journey so far was officiating our clients’ wedding in Australia. Standing alongside them as they made a lifelong covenant with God and each other was such a powerful reminder of His love and faithfulness. It felt like a celebration not just of their relationship but of the incredible work we get to be part of every day—watching God’s promises unfold in the lives of those we mentor.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce the release of two new books: 52 Prayers for My Wife and 52 Prayers for My Husband, launching January 14th. These books are designed to help couples build stronger connections and deepen their faith together, one prayer at a time. You’ll be able to find them wherever books are sold.

We’re grateful for this journey and for the opportunity to walk with so many amazing people toward the abundant life God has for them. It’s our greatest joy to reflect His love through the work we do, and we’re excited for what’s to come!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three qualities and skills stand out as most impactful in my journey: having a strong work ethic, being open to learning and implementing new systems, and understanding that my story is far from over. These have shaped not only my growth but also the way I approach the work I do today.

First, a hard work ethic has been foundational. It’s not just about putting in the hours but about being diligent, showing up consistently, and giving my best effort—even when it feels like progress is slow or obstacles seem overwhelming. Hard work creates momentum, and that momentum leads to transformation.

Second, a willingness to learn and apply new information has been key. Whether it’s discovering better systems, understanding new strategies, or seeking wisdom from others, the ability to adapt and grow has opened doors I never expected. It’s not always easy to step outside your comfort zone, but that’s where breakthroughs happen.

Finally, realizing that my story is not over has given me hope and resilience. God has a way of turning even the most challenging seasons into stepping stones for a brighter future. As Stefanie loves to say, “God is better than GPS—He can reroute you when you feel lost and get you back on track toward the abundant life He has for you.” That perspective has been a lifeline in moments when I’ve felt off-course.

For those early in their journey, I encourage you to focus on these three areas. Commit to working hard, even when the rewards feel far away. Stay curious and open to learning—never stop seeking knowledge and tools to grow. And above all, trust that God has a plan for your life. You’re not at the end of your road; you’re simply at a point in the middle of it. Keep moving forward, trusting Him to guide you to a future full of hope and promise.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was give me a solid foundation rooted in God’s truth. From an early age, they instilled in me the importance of faith, integrity, and trusting in God’s plan for my life. This foundation has been my anchor through every season, providing clarity and hope when life has felt uncertain.

They also encouraged me to pursue my dreams and never let fear or doubt hold me back. Knowing they always had my back gave me the confidence to take risks, work hard, and step into opportunities that aligned with God’s calling on my life.

Their unwavering support and belief in me taught me not only to dream big but also to trust that, with God, all things are possible. Their faith in Him and in me has shaped the person I am today, and I’m forever grateful for their love, encouragement, and guidance.
