Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Cameron Dunlap. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Cameron, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
I have faith in my skills and my drive
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a professional chef and forager of 15 years. I’ve managed restaurants for 8 years and owned my own for 3. I have decided to let my lease end and chase my career to wherever it leads me!
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I think the three most important things a young entrepreneur can have are financial literacy (and an accountant), a strong team around you, and multiple income streams
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I have taken my culinary skills on the road and am looking to cook all over the country until I open a new Morchella location in PDX
