We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Candace Johnson a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Candace, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

My confidence was not self-taught. From birth, my parents instilled a firm spiritual foundation. My extended loved ones helped me freely discover fun and my passions. School teachers helped guide my talents and skills to maturity.

The high esteem in my spirituality, emotional awareness and formal education make it simple to be my greatest without competing with anyone. When I walk into a room, I greet others with an understanding of my worth, power and individual gifts. A divine charisma which works to my advantage.

CANDACE JOHNSON founded GOOSHY CANDY LLC in 2021, with the objective to promote romantic play and inclusivity. Aside from her daily role as CEO, Candace is also the mastermind behind TOUCHY/FEELY intimacy card game.

Previously, Johnson was an acclaimed television producer for a top news network. During her decade with Fox News Corp, she launched 3 series, in 3 separate states. Desperate for a mental break, Candace left her high-pressure position at the height of the pandemic to establish her own foundation.

If live is about the journey, then below are the personal interests that influenced my professional path, leading me to develop the world’s best intimacy card game.

Since childhood, I have always been fascinated by the conjuring and sight of love and the power of our collective emotions. My inquisitive nature led me to start a lifestyle blog in 2010 called, “Fearless and Philadelphia.” This independent project caught the eye of a national TV news executive who offered me a reporter audition. By 2012, I was one of the leading news producer in the country.

After a decade of interviewing people, sharing their stories and dating with a press pass, I created TOUCHY/FEELY intimacy card game. A romantic box of purpose-driven questions and friendly prompts for playful connection.
