Meet Candy Santana

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Candy Santana. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Candy, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
Imposter syndrome can be a real challenge, but my educational background has instilled a deep resilience in me. Graduating college in three years while juggling multiple jobs, pursuing a master’s while working at the DA’s office, and finally graduating from law school in 2016- those experiences were intense! They forced me to learn to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks under pressure, and, most importantly, believe in myself.

These same skills have been crucial in my entrepreneurial journey. There are inevitable ups and downs in running your own business. But just like navigating those demanding academic years, I’ve learned to see every challenge as a learning opportunity. It’s a process, not a destination. There are seasons to celebrate wins, and there will be seasons to learn from setbacks. This mantra has become my guiding principle in the past seven years as a business owner, and it’s what helps me silence those imposter syndrome doubts. The results I’ve achieved for my clients speak volumes, and that, combined with my unwavering resilience, keeps me pushing forward.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
As the founder of a full-service marketing agency, I’m energized by two things: collaborating with my phenomenal all-female team and exceeding client expectations. We’ve driven over $20 million in sales for our clients in just seven years, a testament to their talent and dedication. But it goes beyond the numbers. We’re building a culture that empowers women to excel financially and professionally. This core value will continue to guide us as we tackle new challenges and write the next chapter of our success story.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities that were the most impactful in my journey are: 1. Relentless Perseverance: Building a business is a marathon, not a sprint. My unwavering belief in myself and our value proposition has been the fuel that keeps me going through thick and thin. Good days are a reward, but tough days are inevitable learning experiences.

2. Client Success Obsession: I don’t just deliver; I obsess over exceeding client expectations. Their success is my success, and that drives me to go the extra mile, consistently exceeding promises to create true partnerships.

3. Unwavering Grace: Business can be emotional, and people reveal their true colors when under pressure. My guiding principle is to treat everyone with respect and kindness, no matter the situation. It’s a core value that builds trust and fosters long-term relationships.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I’m looking to partner with ambitious business owners across industries – doctors, lawyers, authors, artists, gym owners, you name it! – who understand the power of collaboration to achieve their online goals.

We believe in a partnership approach, working side-by-side to develop a customized strategy that maximizes your online reach and fuels your business growth.

Let’s chat if you’re ready to take your online presence to the next level!
