Meet Cardiac Da Pulse

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Cardiac Da Pulse. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Cardiac Da Pulse below.

Cardiac Da Pulse , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

For me I think its about challenging myself all while growing as a person. My last project and my recent one I did alot soul searching and reflecting. Things changed for me as a person I wasn’t angry as before. So for me finding where I am and speaking about it how I keep my creativity alive and flourishing. I use to say “each rhyme is a time-line of where I’m at” and now my art really reflects it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

So I am an independent artist from milwaukee wisconsin. My name is Cardiac Da Pulse I’m the owner of Da Pulse Music Group. So in so many words I rap and do a little producing of my songs as well. I’m hands on with everything you see and hear from me. I’m more focused just telling my story from my perspective and creating moments that I feel are important to the world. It’s special to me because my words can heal ppl or make you feel the highest amount of joy. I currently have a single out called “Do Not Matter” its virtually me paying homage to my southern roots and influences I really didn’t think I had but In the midst of creating this it came to fruition.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

One definitely has to be trial and error I had to fail and restart and do it again to get to a place where I somewhat perfected what I did. Two has to be i studied artists and how they wrote songs…….. plus how they structured records and I also watched a lot of studio videos. Three getting out there and getting feedback from people rather good or bad it was an experience.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

I think one of my biggest challenges right now is getting away from the idea of perfection. I think I let too much time go by because I was searching for the perfect song at the perfect moment and that’s really a fantasy world. Music is flawed the same way people are and I had to wrap my mind around that concept.
