Meet Carl Middleton

We were lucky to catch up with Carl Middleton recently and have shared our conversation below.

Carl, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I believe my purpose found me rather than the other way around. Art and creativity have always been central to my life, shaping my experiences and guiding my interests from a young age. Over time, I naturally gravitated toward these passions, and by focusing intently on what I was already doing, I discovered that it led me to where I am today. This journey has been about embracing what I love and allowing it to gravitate me to the right plane. It’s been a deeply fulfilling experience to see how my creative pursuits have evolved into a meaningful and purposeful path.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m Carl Da Creator, and my work is all about staying true to oneself in an ever-changing and easily influenced world. My professional focus spans several exciting areas, including consistent music and music video releases that aim to make a meaningful impact. I’m also thrilled about my upcoming collaborations with various music artists, which promise to bring fresh and dynamic elements to my work.

In addition to my music projects, I’m venturing into new territories with upcoming TV shows. I’m particularly excited about the live performances I’ll be doing in my hometown of Savannah, GA. These shows will not only showcase my work but also allow me to connect with my community in a meaningful way.

Another key aspect of my work is my “Spiritual War Veteran” merchandise, which is available on www.carldacreator.art ;and reflects my unique perspective and experiences. I’m proud of how this line resonates with my audience and complements the creative work I do.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my career is creating and facilitating spaces where people can engage with parts of themselves that they might not encounter in their everyday lives. This aspect of my work brings me immense joy and satisfaction. I’m dedicated to approaching problems with creativity and adaptability, ensuring that every challenge is met with innovative solutions.

I’m eager to continue this journey and share these experiences with my audience. It’s all about fostering connections, inspiring growth, and embracing creativity in every aspect of what I do.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, I realize that several key qualities have profoundly shaped my journey. One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned is the importance of knowing when to walk away from situations, people, places, or things that no longer serve my well-being. It’s not always easy, but recognizing when something is draining or hindering my growth has been crucial in helping me focus on what truly matters and what brings me joy.

Another vital aspect has been valuing my time. I’ve come to deeply appreciate that time is our most precious resource, and I refuse to let anyone or anything squander it. Being mindful of how I spend my time has allowed me to dedicate it to pursuits and relationships that enrich my life and align with my goals.

Equally important is protecting my own happiness. I’ve learned to be fiercely protective of my emotional well-being. If anything or anyone begins to negatively impact my sense of peace and joy, I know it’s time to reassess and make the necessary changes. Prioritizing my happiness has been essential for maintaining balance and fulfillment.

For those just starting their journey, my advice is to take your time but don’t let time take you. Be patient with yourself as you progress, but also be intentional about how you use your time. Make decisions that resonate with your values and aspirations, and don’t be afraid to make changes when something isn’t working. Your journey is uniquely yours, so cherish each step and stay true to what brings you fulfillment.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

Yes, I am currently facing a unique challenge: my ability to perceive others’ true feelings has become exceptionally heightened. It’s as if I can clearly hear and understand what people are genuinely feeling, even when their words don’t align with their true emotions. This heightened sense of empathy and intuition can be quite overwhelming at times, as it’s difficult to navigate situations where there’s a disconnect between what people say and what they actually mean.

While this heightened awareness allows me to connect more deeply with others, it also presents a challenge in maintaining my own emotional balance and navigating interactions where there is a lack of authenticity. Learning to manage this sensitivity and finding ways to protect my own well-being while still honoring this intuitive gift is an ongoing process.
