Hi Carla, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

Being a burn survivor teaches you multiple skills. Having a mother like mine who never gave up and never gave in teaches you to never give up on life.

Carla Jackson is a dynamic force of inspiration, known for her profound ability to connect with audiences through her roles as a Bible teacher, author, storyteller, singer, and podcaster. As the visionary founder of the Red Letter Awards (redletterawards.com), Carla celebrates extraordinary individuals who embody the spirit of faith and resilience.

Carla’s latest endeavor, the “Stars of Sacrifice” event, honors the brave men who served our country during World War II. These veterans, residing at the Tennessee State Veterans Home Care in Murfreesboro, TN, are often left in quiet solitude, yearning for connection. Through this outreach program, Carla aims to uplift their spirits and express gratitude on behalf of the Church for their invaluable contributions to our nation. This initiative underscores her commitment to building community and providing support to those who feel isolated, exemplifying the church as God’s extended hands.

With 21 years of ministry experience and a rich background in promoting world culture, Carla brings a unique and Spirit-filled perspective to her work. She speaks powerfully on overcoming life’s greatest challenges, including death, fear, abandonment, racism, hate, and the personal trials of living with third-degree burns.
