Carmelle , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I did different things to help me develope my confidence and self-esteem, especially when it came to doing hair and being a colorist. I made sure that I had alot of education and training. Building a solid foundation in hairstyling and hair coloring techniques through formal education or professiona training helped me boost my confidence.. I would practice and practice on friends and family. I felt like the more I practice, the more condident I became. I experimented with different hairstyles, textures and hair color, both on a mannequin or volunteer models.

I also seeked feedback. I would ask for constructive criticsim and guidance from experienced hairstylist or clients to improve my techniques and learn from their expertise. I believe that positive deeback can reinforce your confidence, while constructive criticsim help you grow and refine your skills.

I also celebrated my achievements. Recognizing and celebrating my achievement, no matterhow small they may seem. I feel like every successful hairstyle or hair color you create is a testament to your skills and abilities
