So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.
Thick skin and blinders! I really sat down and had a conversation with myself, do I believe in what I am doing? Absolutely! Do I believe that we will be successful? For sure! Is a hand full of negative comments or people going to change any of my previous thoughts of success? Heck No! We as a society should not allow someone behind a keyboard dictate our future success. You just have to be strong enough to drown out the noise!

When people ask me what makes Earth & Sky Dwellings so special, I always say it’s the way magic and nature collide here. Guests don’t just stay in a cabin — they step into a world that feels both wildly adventurous and deeply serene. Every design choice, every hidden detail, is meant to spark that childlike sense of wonder. Whether it’s waking up among the treetops, soaking in a bath tub under the stars, or curling up by a fireplace with panoramic mountain views, there’s this palpable feeling of escape — like you’ve stepped into a storybook where you’re the main character.
The excitement comes from the contrast. People arrive with the stress of daily life still clinging to them, but within hours, you see it melt away. They’re laughing, exploring, reconnecting — with nature, with their loved ones, and even with themselves. That’s the real magic of Earth & Sky Dwellings. It’s not just about unique spaces, it’s about the way those spaces awaken joy, adventure, and peace all at once. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The creation of Earth & Sky Dwellings was not a smooth or simple path — it was built on perseverance, tenacity, and sheer grit. From navigating the challenges of building in rugged mountain terrain to bringing to life creative designs that many thought were impossible, every step required determination. There were countless moments when obstacles could have easily halted progress — permitting hurdles, construction delays, financial strain — but the vision of creating a place where people could feel wonder and connection kept pushing us forward. It was that relentless drive, fueled by passion and an unwillingness to give up, that transformed what started as a dream into the enchanting reality guests experience today.
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
From a young age, my parents instilled in me the confidence to trust my own instincts and make decisions with conviction. They encouraged me not only to dream but to step boldly into those dreams, even when the path wasn’t clear. That foundation of trust and independence inspired me to travel the world, seeking out experiences that would expand my perspective and deepen my understanding of people and places. Those adventures became my education — teaching me resilience, adaptability, and a genuine appreciation for the richness of life. All of it has shaped the woman I am today, guiding the way I lead, create, and connect with others.
