Meet Carolyn Miller

We were lucky to catch up with Carolyn Miller recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Carolyn, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I was a child actor, so I was used to constantly juggling auditions, classes, and jobs with schoolwork, after school activities, and more. I learned discipline at quite a young age in order to make it all happen!

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m a country artist, originally from Long Island, NY. I didn’t exactly grow up on country music — I discovered it quite a bit later in life!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1) Being organized and disciplined 2) Fearlessness in introducing myself to others and NETWORKING
3) Getting creative and thinking outside the box

Advice: Don’t be afraid to OWN who you are – that’s what makes you different and stand out from the rest!

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
They always taught my brother and I that no dream is too big and anything is possible.
