Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Cassana Lemons. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Cassana, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Finding my purpose wasn’t a single moment—it was a journey shaped by my personal experiences, faith, and a deep desire to help others heal and grow. I went through seasons of pain, uncertainty, and transitions, but instead of letting those moments define me, I used them as stepping stones. Through prayer, reflection, and being honest about my struggles, I discovered that my true calling was to guide others through theirs.
I realized I was most fulfilled when I was serving—whether through counseling, coaching, or community work. I paid attention to what brought me peace and what lit a fire in me, and that clarity helped me align my gifts with purpose. Now, everything I do is centered on empowering others to discover who they truly are—because I know firsthand what it feels like to be lost, and I know the freedom of being found

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m Cassana M. Lemons — a Board-Certified Christian Counselor, Transformation Coach, and Founder of Sisters Motivating Sisters, a growing women’s empowerment community of over 5,000 women. I’m also in the process of launching my nonprofit, Empowered Collective, which will focus on emotional healing, personal growth, and equipping underserved communities with practical tools for transformation.
My work is rooted in faith, healing, and purpose. I’ve overcome many personal challenges in life—family dysfunction, hardship, and seasons of uncertainty. But through those trials, I found my calling. Today, I have the privilege of helping others heal and discover who they were created to be.
What excites me most is seeing people transform right before my eyes—from feeling stuck or broken to walking in confidence and clarity. Whether I’m offering faith-based counseling, life coaching, or organizing community events, everything I do is about empowering others to rise.
Currently, I’m focused on expanding Sisters Motivating Sisters into a structured network that offers mentorship, support groups, and real-life resources. I’m also preparing to launch several initiatives through my nonprofit, including a church-based food pantry, an emergency preparedness outreach, and a faith and wellness retreat this fall.
What sets my brand apart is the combination of spiritual grounding and real-world support. I meet people where they are—but I won’t leave them there. My goal is to continue building safe spaces where people feel seen, supported, and spiritually restored.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are resilience, faith, and empathy. Resilience has allowed me to navigate life’s challenges by embracing setbacks as opportunities for growth rather than defeat. My faith and spiritual grounding have provided clarity, peace, and a strong sense of purpose, reminding me that my work serves a higher calling beyond myself. Lastly, empathy and the ability to truly listen have enabled me to connect deeply with others, fostering trust and meaningful transformation. For those early in their journey, I encourage building resilience by viewing challenges as lessons and surrounding yourself with supportive people. It’s also important to invest in your spiritual or personal grounding through practices that center and connect you to your deeper purpose. Finally, practicing active listening and empathy daily will enrich your relationships and enhance your ability to serve others authentically.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?
If I only had ten years left to live, I would spend every moment chasing purpose with fierce intentionality. I wouldn’t just want to exist—I’d want to leave a legacy that outlives me. I’d pour my heart and soul into empowering women through Sisters Motivating Sisters and my nonprofit, creating safe spaces where brokenness turns into breakthrough and despair turns into hope. I’d be relentless in mentoring, coaching, and lifting up those who feel unseen, reminding them they are chosen, loved, and destined for greatness. My faith would become my anchor and my fire—drawing me closer to God and fueling my passion to walk boldly in His plan. Most importantly, I’d cherish every laugh, every tear, every quiet moment with my family and loved ones, knowing time is sacred and finite. I want to be remembered not just for what I accomplished, but for how deeply I loved, how fiercely I fought, and how boldly I believed that every life matters.
Because in the end, it’s not the years we have that define us — it’s the love we give, the lives we touch, and the hope we leave behind.
