Meet Cassandra Kilfoy

We recently connected with Cassandra Kilfoy and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Cassandra , so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?

Being a psychic medium isn’t just a calling—it’s a path that comes with deep misunderstandings, skepticism, and sometimes outright hostility. From the moment I embraced my abilities, I knew I would face criticism. I’ve been called a fake, a scam artist, and even a witch—often with the negative, old-world connotations that paint intuition and spiritual connection as something dark or deceptive.

The stigma around psychics and mediums runs deep. Society tends to fear what it doesn’t understand, and throughout history, people with intuitive gifts have been dismissed, ridiculed, and persecuted. While we’ve come a long way, those outdated biases still linger. I’ve had people assume that what I do is fake or manipulative, and others who outright refuse to believe that there’s anything beyond the physical world.

But here’s the thing—I don’t do this to convince the skeptics. I do this for the people who come to me searching for clarity, healing, and connection. I’ve seen firsthand the peace that a message from a loved one can bring. I’ve watched people leave a session feeling lighter, empowered, and more in tune with themselves. That’s what matters.

I persist because I know my work is real. I trust in my abilities, I stay true to my path, and I let my readings and reviews speak for themselves. The energy I put into my business isn’t about fighting the doubters—it’s about showing up for those who are ready to receive. And no label, no outdated stereotype, and no amount of negativity can take that away from me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

What makes my work special is the energy exchange—the way spirit moves through each session, bringing peace and validation to those who seek it. I embrace the ancient traditions of intuitive wisdom while creating a modern, welcoming space for healing.

Beyond my work as a medium, I am also a multidisciplinary artist, channeling spiritual themes into my creative expression. Two of my pieces, “Goddess Consciousness” and “Garden Guardian,” will be featured in upcoming exhibitions at Artisans in the Loop and Webster Arts Gallery this month. I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to share my vision in a new way. In addition, I will be beginning my doula training in April, expanding my ability to support others through sacred transitions in life.

Recently, I’ve also introduced a bartering option, honoring the timeless practice of exchanging energy rather than currency. I am prioritizing private events and large-scale reading gatherings while actively sharing my artwork with the world. And there is more to come—a soon-to-be-announced collaboration and expansion is on the horizon. As my journey unfolds, my goal remains the same: to help others find light, trust their inner voice, and awaken to the divine guidance that has always been with them.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Intuition, Courage, and Authenticity. Intuition has been my guiding force, allowing me to trust the unseen and move forward even when the path wasn’t clear. Courage has been essential in stepping fully into my gifts, despite societal stigma, skepticism, and the internal battles of doubt and imposter syndrome. Authenticity has allowed me to build genuine connections with those who resonate with my work, creating a space where people feel safe, understood, and empowered.

For those beginning their journey in developing these qualities, start by deepening your connection with yourself. Strengthen your intuition by listening to your inner voice—meditate, embrace stillness, and learn the power of breath. Move your body in ways that feel good and support your well-being. Engage in sacred rituals, explore your ancestral roots, and make space for creativity, as these practices will refine your inner knowing.

Courage looks different for everyone. Sometimes it means admitting when you’re wrong or standing up for yourself in small but meaningful ways—like correcting a mistaken order at a restaurant. True courage is also found in difficult conversations, in approaching conflict with nonviolent communication, and in holding space for others with compassion. My soft heart and unwavering goodwill are acts of courage—choosing love, forgiveness, and the ability to release and move forward, again and again.

I implore you to approach your spiritual path with responsibility and authenticity. Before engaging in spells or energy work, ensure you have mastered detachment from ego—true power comes from acting with pure intent and doing no harm. Seek knowledge from trusted, experienced practitioners rather than unreliable internet sources, as misinformation can be dangerous. Ethics and authentic intentions must always come first; honor the sacred nature of this work by staying rooted in truth and integrity. Support practitioners who uphold these values, and always ensure that your path is aligned with light, wisdom, and love.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am always open to collaboration with those who share a deep respect for spiritual work, creativity, and ethical practice. I am particularly interested in partnering with fellow spiritual practitioners, artists, abolitionists, deconstructionists, and those involved in awakening to our highest potential and creating a better world. Whether it’s co-hosting events (I have been dreaming of holding sacred space at retreats!!), integrating spiritual work with artistic expression, or expanding offerings in ways that uplift and empower, I welcome collaborations that align with my values.

I am actively booking for April and looking to vend at events in the summer, as well as accepting art commissions. If you feel called to work together, I encourage you to reach out. The best way to connect is through my Instagram @cassandrasprophecies or via email; [email protected]
I look forward to creating meaningful, transformative experiences with those who are aligned in purpose.
