Meet Cassandra Morrison

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Cassandra Morrison. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with CASSANDRA below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have CASSANDRA with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I get it from my parents. Father was in the military for 20+ years. I was in law enforcement for 20+ years so I am a rule follower. My father always told me “do not ever stop learning.” I have taken this to heart and always tried to continue to learn.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I spent 20+ years in Law Enforcement ranging from (uniformed Officer, Detective, unformed Sergeant. I had specialties in Crisis Intervention, Crisis Negotiation, Field Training, and Instruction. I worked the streets of Albuquerque for part of my career and in an undercover capacity for part of my career.
I have been in Real Estate for 14+ years with numerous designations and certifications: Certified Residential Specialist, Sellers Representative Specialist, Senior Real Estate Specialist, ePro certified, C2EX (Commitment to Excellence), At Home with Diveristy, Real Estate Negotiation Expert, Certified Auction Agent with Supreme Auctions, NM Safe Certified (for Covid transactions). Helped numerous sellers, buyers and investors. I have taken a lot of pride in taking care of my clients by providing excellent service and resources. I had been an independent producing broker until I took on the work of being the Designated Broker for Real Broker LLC, New Mexico. I am focused on increasing the size of the brokerage throughout the state and being in compliance with the State of New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Division, Real Estate Commission as well as ALL of the Multiple Listing Services throughout New Mexico.
Board of Directors – Albuquerque Sales & Economic Growth Association (previous past president). ASEGA.org
Member – Better Together New Mexico. A bi-partisan organization who keep eachother informed of legislative, regulatory changes in the state.
Member of High Standards Qualifying Broker Assocition. Local organization improving the real estate industry.
Charitable work – Pursonalities Plus ABQ, locally owned 501C3 (Treasurer). Supporter of this charity since 2018.
Primary Mistress of Ceremonies – InPower Her Networking.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Integrity. Communication. Commitment to Excellence.
Read. Read. Read. Many books to develop or improve. Stay true to yourself. If you commit to anything, give it 100%. Pay attention. Sort out the advice you get. Do your own research. Not all advice is good advice. Just because they have “more time” doesn’t mean they are the expert. There are some pretty young “rock stars’ out there.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal client would be someone who is like minded. High level of integrity. Do the right thing always. Follow the rules. Think outside of the box. Win-win strategy.
