Hi Cedrick , so happy to have you on the platform and I think our readers are in for a treat because you’ve got such an interesting story and so much insight and wisdom. So, let’s start with a topic that is relevant to everyone, regardless of industry etc. What do you do for self-care and how has it impacted you?

Things that I do for self-care is a couple things. I typically do things that make me feel happy for example walking and listening to R&B music brings me a piece of mind. I also get massages with a company called “hands of trades” located in Florida ( IG : handsoftrades1804) . I also give myself a me day a me day to me is just me relaxing and enjoying my peace of mind.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

My bread and butter is hosting. I’m actually a podcast host for a podcast called. “ get ready for it! Podcast” which I’m the creator director producer for the past six years. I love the ability to create ideas to cast and direct and bring my vision to life. We are approaching the year of 2026 and we’re heading into our new season so it’s gonna be bigger and better and I can’t wait for our audience to see it.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Self motivation, Communication skills, being a people person. My advice to people would just be to start the journey! take that first step. You never know if you don’t try there’s so many things that I’ve attempted to try and it may have not been the most successful, but I’ve attempted in that led to other areas of success.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

A couple years ago, I started feeling overwhelmed in a couple areas in my life. Which leads to my depression however I didn’t wanna soak in my depression so I reached out for help and I got me a wellness coach named Jude B. (jacq0ftrades) . With this program, it taught me certain tools. I can use such as resetting my energy, meditating, reading the Bible, realizing you can only control the things that you can control. It’s my book of advice is that if you feel overwhelmed search out for resources that can help you not feel that way or when you do feel that way better the situation.
