Meet Chad Pulido

We were lucky to catch up with Chad Pulido recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Chad , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
Resilience, my ability to withstand adversity, bounce back from setbacks, and continue to thrive even in the face of life’s most challenging moments. For me, the source of my resilience can be traced back to a variety of experiences and influences in my life. Seeing people close to me face various hardships and challenges instilled in me the understanding that adversity is a part of life. These experiences served as a reminder that everyone encounters obstacles at some point, and it’s our response to these challenges that truly defines us. Witnessing others navigate their difficulties with courage and resilience taught me that it’s possible to overcome even the most daunting trials.
Personal Setbacks, life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and I have had my share of personal setbacks. These experiences, including failed relationships and addiction issues, tested my emotional strength and resilience. Through these trials, I discovered that I possessed an inner strength I never knew I had, enabling me to recover and emerge stronger than before. Resilience is not a fixed trait but a skill that can be honed over time. I’ve learned to adapt and grow through setbacks, recognizing that failures are opportunities for growth rather than insurmountable obstacles.

Taking care of my mental well-being has been a crucial part of my journey to resilience. Learning about mindfulness, stress management, and self-care practices has empowered me to navigate challenging moments with a clearer mind and a more balanced emotional state. Self-awareness and introspection have been instrumental in my growth as a resilient individual. Regular self-reflection has allowed me to identify areas for improvement and adapt my approach to challenges accordingly.

Spirituality, in various forms, has played a significant role in shaping my resilience. It has offered me a sense of purpose and a source of inner strength. Whether through faith, meditation, or mindfulness practices.

Resilience is not a quality one is simply born with; it is a product of life experiences, support systems, and personal growth. My journey to find resilience has been a multifaceted one, shaped by my family, educational experiences, personal challenges, role models, mental health awareness, community, self-reflection, and adaptive learning. It is an ongoing process, and I continue to draw strength from these sources as I navigate life’s ever-changing landscape. Witnessing the struggles of people around me has been a significant source of my resilience. It was through these observations that I learned some of life’s most valuable lessons about strength, perseverance, and the human spirit.

.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
In 2016, I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey in the glamorous setting of Beverly Hills, California, by starting a lash lift business from scratch. With a vision, determination, and hard work, I built not only a successful business but also a thriving brand. I created innovative products, designed cutting-edge training programs, and shared my expertise with lash artists worldwide, enabling them to significantly increase their revenue.

The lash lift treatment rapidly gained popularity, and my brand’s success was meteoric. However, as the market became oversaturated, and I encountered personal struggles and life events, I learned valuable lessons. I realized that materialistic success is fleeting, and I needed to recenter myself.

Fast forward to today, I find myself living in the serene and inspiring surroundings of Portland, Oregon. With a newfound perspective on life, I’ve shifted my focus towards different creative pursuits. I have authored a book on starseeds, exploring profound metaphysical concepts and spiritual growth, and I’m currently in the process of completing my first children’s book, aiming to inspire young minds and share valuable life lessons.

This journey represents not only a business success story but also a profound personal transformation. It’s a testament to the resilience and adaptability of the human spirit, as well as the realization that true fulfillment goes beyond material accomplishments, embracing a holistic and balanced approach to life’s endeavors.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Reflecting on my journey, three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful are:

1. Resilience, The ability to bounce back from setbacks and continue moving forward was crucial. To develop resilience, embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, maintain a positive mindset, and seek inspiration from others who have overcome adversity.

2. Adaptability, The capacity to adjust to changing circumstances and markets played a significant role in my journey. To enhance adaptability, remain open to new ideas, continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, and be willing to pivot your strategies when necessary.

3. Networking and Learning from Others, Building a supportive network and learning from the experiences of mentors, colleagues, and peers was invaluable. To develop this, attend industry events, seek out mentors, and engage in conversations with those who have expertise in your field. Be open to feedback and different perspectives.

For those early in their journey, my advice is:

Embrace Failure Don’t fear it; see it as a stepping stone to success. Learn from your mistakes, adapt, and keep moving forward.

Continual Learning Stay curious and never stop learning. The more knowledge and skills you acquire, the more adaptable and resilient you become.

Network and Seek Guidance, Connect with like-minded individuals and mentors in your industry. Their guidance and support can be instrumental in your growth and development.

Stay True to Your Passion Pursue endeavors that align with your interests and values. Passion fuels motivation, making it easier to overcome challenges..

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
