Meet Chanell Sinkfield

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Chanell Sinkfield a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Chanell , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
That’s a great question. I’m not really sure when my switch flipped. I used to be very introverted, shy, etc. but something in me changed and I just started to go for it. Almost a fake it till you make it thing but I’m not sure when I stopped “faking it”.

I think I just started doing things I always wanted to do but put off – things like learning to play tennis, being more involved in my kids’ school (I’m the PTA president, who would have thought?!), being more social and just over time by putting myself out there. I’ve naturally gained more confidence. But believe me it’s been a journey.

Believing in myself was the first step. I realized that when you are confident, and you own it, people notice it too! I also had to stop comparing myself to others and to be more confident about what I have to offer. And if someone doesn’t like it, just move on and continue walking straight.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Simply put, I am a Real Estate Agent. But there is so much more to my services and my business. I strive to provide a fun, personalized, and memorable experience for my clients that are trying to achieve their goals through home ownership.

Whether I am walking my homebuyers through the purchase of their very first home or providing my sellers with the most modern staging, marketing and pricing strategies to sell their homes for top dollar, each person that I help has a unique and personable experience with me.

What sets me even more apart is the brokerage I’ve aligned myself with, Monarch Real Estate & Ranch. I’ve got an amazing broker and team by my side that believes in servicing our clients at the highest level while creating relationships that last a lifetime.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Passion. If you want to reach your goals, it helps to care a lot about what you’re doing and how you’re doing it. Being a real estate agent isn’t just a job for me. It’s a lifestyle and passion of mine. I live and breathe real estate.

Communication. Effective communication is vital for understanding the needs and goals of my clients. Being able to listen actively and express ideas clearly is key.

Relationship Building. Real estate is a people-oriented business, and building strong relationships is really important to me.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m always looking for way to collaborate and connect with others. I absolutely love working with custom builders, builder partners within new construction, mortgage lenders, title companies, you name it! Find me on social media or email me, chanell.sinkfield@gmail.com!
