Meet Channe White

We recently connected with Channe White and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Channe with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My work ethic comes from the fuel I get from wanting to achieve my dreams of being a professional singer. There are times where I may take breaks because I deal with burn out sometimes but what keeps me going is my need to succeed and pursue my vision.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a music artist. The most exciting part about being an artist is that there is no limit to the possibilities. Having a creative passion means that ANYTHING is possible. My focus is mainly RnB music. With my music, I want to shed light on all the emotions humans go through, especially the ones we tend to hide from others, such as fear, doubt, low-self esteem, etc. I shed light on them to let others know they are not alone in their pain and struggle and that their hardships are nothing to be ashamed of, but a building armor that helps us navigate through life and lets us know we are alive! Currently, I’m working on a project, my debut EP, called “Ice Cold” ft. singles “Slip” and “P.S.” This project talks about unhealthy relationships, heartbreak, lack of self-love, breaking free from patterns, and eventually leads to freedom from all that pain and into realizing self-worthiness. This EP takes you through a roller coaster of emotions and I cannot wait to share it!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Three things I’ve learned, not just for music but in life, is to take it one day at a time. A lot of the times we are in a rush to get to where we are going that we forget to enjoy the journey and the small steps we took every day to get to the destination. Another one is to be authentic and block out the noise. We are all different and it’s so crucial to follow your heart and mind and value your own opinions about yourself over all others. This is the best way to maintain happiness in life and with the things we create and it is also how one attracts their audience and keeps them around for the long hall. Last and most importantly is discipline (something I’m still getting the hang of). Discipline is the bread and butter to achieving your goals and it is also one of the hardest things to grasp (in my opinion) because it is so easy to quit and so hard to keep going especially when your tired or life gets hard etc. My advice to anyone wanting to know how to use this knowledge is simple… learn to trust in yourself at all cost and know that you have time, so take control of it and everything else will fall into place.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am looking for artist to collaborate with. Whether you sing, write, play an instrument, do photography, digital design, etc. it doesn’t matter. I’m looking for a team to grow with. If you are interested in finding a creative community and/or someone to collaborate with you can email me at [email protected], follow me on Instagram and Threads @chae.theartist, on X @chae_theartist, and TikTok @chaetheartist. I look forward to working with each and everyone one of you.
