Meet Chante’l Armstrong

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Chante’l Armstrong a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Chante’l with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I get my work ethic from a deep sense of purpose and the values instilled in me by my family and community. Growing up, I was taught that showing up, being consistent, and doing your best, whether someone is watching or not, speaks volumes about your character. My commitment to service, equity, and impact pushes me to lead with intention in every role I take on. Whether I’m mentoring, managing a team, or organizing a community event, I approach the work with integrity, accountability, and a drive to leave things better than I found them.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am the founder of CDA Training Solutions, a consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations elevate their employee development through strategic onboarding, training, and performance management solutions. We specialize in creating customized learning experiences that meet the unique needs of each organization, whether that is through Learning Management Systems, instructional design, workshop facilitation, or professional development coaching. What excites me most about this work is seeing the transformation that happens when people are truly supported in their roles. I believe that when employees are given the right tools and training, they thrive, and that energy fuels the entire organization. CDA Training Solutions is not just about delivering training. It is about empowering people to show up as their best selves and helping businesses build cultures of excellence and accountability. Right now, we are expanding our services to include virtual training series for emerging leaders as well as onboarding audits to help companies streamline their hiring and retention strategies. I am also proud of our partnerships with small businesses and nonprofits that want to invest in their teams without compromising on quality or vision. At CDA Training Solutions, we are committed to helping people and organizations grow with purpose, clarity, and impact.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are: adaptability, relationship building, and strategic thinking.

Adaptability allowed me to navigate the ever-changing demands of leadership, business, and community service. Whether I was working in a clinic setting or consulting with organizations, being open to learning and pivoting when needed helped me stay effective and relevant. For those just starting out, I recommend seeking out opportunities that challenge you to step outside your comfort zone. Growth often comes from the unexpected.

Relationship building has been the foundation of every successful project I’ve led. I believe in the power of authentic connections. Whether it’s a colleague, client, or community partner, people remember how you make them feel. For anyone early in their journey, invest time in listening and building trust. Your network will not only support your growth but also help you create lasting impact.

Strategic thinking helped me move beyond short-term solutions and focus on long-term sustainability. This skill is essential when managing teams, launching new programs, or scaling a business. My advice is to always take time to reflect, plan, and align your actions with your core mission. Thinking a few steps ahead can make the difference between temporary progress and lasting success.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes, I am always open to partnering and collaborating with individuals and organizations who are passionate about creating meaningful impact through training, professional development, and community-centered initiatives. I especially enjoy working with leaders, HR professionals, small business owners, and nonprofit organizations who are committed to developing their teams, improving onboarding systems, and cultivating inclusive workplace cultures. I also welcome collaborations with educators, speakers, and wellness advocates who share a vision of holistic growth for individuals and communities. Whether you are looking to co-host a training, bring professional development workshops to your organization, or build out a structured onboarding program, I would love to explore how we can work together. If you’re reading this and want to connect, the best way to reach me is through my website or LinkedIn. I’m always excited to have meaningful conversations and explore ways we can bring our ideas to life.
