Meet Chantel Beall

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chantel Beall. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chantel below.

Chantel, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

A few years ago, our family made a big move from Columbia, Missouri to Kansas City. At the time, it felt like a practical decision, a new chapter, a new address. What we didn’t realize was that it would quietly shape our purpose in ways we couldn’t have planned.

With work and our boys’ soccer still pulling us back to Columbia, we spent a lot of time on the road. At first, those drives were just something to get through quick stops for bathroom breaks, fast food, gas, and a mindset of point A to point B. But over time, that started to feel empty. We realized we weren’t just traveling a lot; we were missing opportunities to connect.

Kansas City itself was new to us too. Chantel had lived there before, but the city had grown and changed so much that she was rediscovering it as a parent versus a child. With three curious kids, we naturally started searching for places that felt special in small ways, a park where they could run freely, a quirky local stop, a neighborhood food spot worth remembering. When we talked to other parents, we realized they were searching for the same thing: meaningful experiences that didn’t require a big trip or a big budget.

Right before the world shut down in 2020, we rebranded and launched Adventures with C3 as a way to share what we were finding. We had no idea how quickly life was about to change. When even parks closed, we didn’t stop exploring…we just explored differently. We stayed close to home, got creative, and focused on making the most of the moment we were in.

One unexpected highlight was watching food trucks show up in our neighborhood. It became a simple but powerful reminder that there is always something worth celebrating, someone worth supporting, and a memory waiting to be made.

That’s when our purpose became clear. Adventures with C3 isn’t about checking places off a list. It’s about helping families slow down, notice what’s around them, and create meaningful memories in the middle of everyday life.

We’re not just exploring new places. We’re building a life rooted in connection, curiosity, and shared experiences inviting others to do the same.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

What started with everyday moments (local parks, restaurants, and simple outings) has naturally grown as our family has grown. As our kids got older and more curious, our adventures did too. We began expanding beyond quick outings to include hotels, amusement parks, and larger road trips, including family trips to places like Florida or Utah. These experiences still follow the same philosophy: travel doesn’t have to be overwhelming or unrealistic to be memorable. It just has to be intentional.

What feels most special about what we do is that we’re not showcasing “perfect” trips. We share the real side of family travel, what places actually look like, and what we learned along the way. Whether it’s a day at a neighborhood park or a multi-day road trip, our goal is to make families feel encouraged and capable, not intimidated.

Professionally, our focus is on creating honest, helpful content that families can actually use. We look for experiences that bring people closer, spark curiosity in kids, and create moments worth remembering. That might mean discovering a hidden local gem, finding a family-friendly hotel that truly makes things easier, or mapping out a road trip that feels manageable instead of stressful.

One exciting area of growth has been our larger adventures, including extended road trips and destination experiences like our travels to Utah. Looking ahead, we’re continuing to build on that momentum sharing several national and state parks across the Southwest on our YouTube channel in 2026. These trips allow us to show families what’s possible when you take the same mindset from everyday adventures and apply it on a bigger scale.

At the same time, we’re staying true to where it all started. No matter how far we travel, the heart of Adventures with C3 remains the same: making the most of the time you have, wherever you are.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Our journey has been shaped by a mix of skills we developed as content creators and qualities we’ve grown into as parents. Many of them overlap.

First, consistency and showing up, even when it felt imperfect.
As content creators, the biggest lesson was realizing that progress comes from showing up regularly, not waiting for perfect conditions. Many of our best moments happen when we simply hit record and share what is real. As parents, this translated into being present, even on days that feel busy or messy. Consistency builds trust; with an audience, and with your kids.

Second, curiosity paired with thoughtful planning.
We never set out with a rigid master plan, but we also don’t want to be overwhelmed by endless possibilities. Over time, we have learned to balance curiosity with preparation. We research ideas, keep a running list of places and experiences, and ask practical questions before we go… things like whether it’s something our family would genuinely enjoy, how much time it requires, and how it fits into our budget.

As content creators, this approach has helped us stay consistent without burning out or chasing trends that don’t align with our values. It has allowed us to experiment thoughtfully rather than randomly. As parents, it has helped us respect our kids’ interests and energy levels while also being mindful of time and finances. Planning minimally has given us freedom, removes friction and makes it easier to say yes to experiences that actually bring us closer.

Third, intentionality with time and attention.
This has been the most impactful skill by far. Content creation can easily become about numbers and performance, just as parenting can become about schedules and logistics. We had to learn to protect the moments that actually mattered. Intentional time creates meaningful memories, and those memories are the foundation of both our content and our family.

Our advice for those early in their journey is to start small and stay present. You don’t need the best equipment, the biggest trips, or a perfectly mapped-out plan. Focus on building habits that support connection whether it is with your audience, your family, or yourself. Be consistent, stay curious, and choose intention over perfection. The rest tends to follow.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes, we’re always open to collaborating with partners who align with our family-first values. Our ideal partners are family focused destinations and experiences that serve a wide range of ages, places where parents and kids can genuinely enjoy time together.

We often work with tourism boards to help showcase what a destination truly offers families, from where to eat and stay to activities that make the experience memorable. We also love partnering with family friendly locations such as parks, attractions, hotels, and local businesses that create welcoming, accessible experiences for families.

What matters most to us is authenticity. We’re selective about partnerships and focus on sharing experiences we would choose for our own family. That way, our audience knows they’re seeing honest recommendations, not just highlights.

Anyone interested in collaborating can connect with us through our Adventures with C3 channels or email us at [email protected]. We’re always happy to start a conversation and see if it’s a good fit.
