Chantel, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

My grandmother is the strongest person I know. She has lived a life defined by service, sacrifice, and perseverance. As a nurse, she cared for countless people with compassion. At home, she raised three children while helping my grandfather run a farm — a life that demanded endless energy and resilience.

She worked tirelessly, not just for her family but for her community, and she continued working until the age of 85. Even now, at 91, after suffering a stroke, she refuses to quit. Every day she pushes herself to improve, showing the same determination that has guided her entire life.

From her, I learned that hard work is not something to fear but something to embrace. She taught me that no matter your background, you can build a meaningful life through effort, persistence, and courage.

My work ethic, my drive, and my belief in making something of myself all come from her. She is proof that strength is not just physical — it is the spirit to keep going, to keep striving, and to never give up.

I am proud to be her grandchild.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am mom of 2 amazing kids, Caydence (8) and Jaxon (5). I have been with my husband Jared for 14 lovely years. I am the owner/operator of Two Maids Albuquerque/Rio Rancho New Mexico.
We’re more than just a cleaning company—we’re a family-owned business dedicated to giving our clients back the most precious resource: time. We have one mission in mind: to provide safe, reliable, and eco-friendly house cleaning that helps families breathe easier and live better.
Together, we’ve grown to become the fastest-growing Two Maids location in company history. Our success comes from a simple promise: every home we clean is treated with the same care and respect we give our own.
We’re proud to serve the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho communities, and we look forward to continuing to grow alongside the families we serve.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

My husband and I both have 20+ years in management and customer service. I have telemarketing and sales experience as well. Those along with understanding the importance of networking I feel has helped us with our success.
Advice: Start networking early. Don’t wait until “the time is right”. In any business you have to get out there and let people know about your business and what your bringing to the table.
And remember NO ONE will love your business as much as you do. So put the love and care into that it deserves and you will be rewarded.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

The book for me that has helped me most is “Your a Badass” by Jen Sincerio
