One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
It’s crucial to acknowledge that each of us is uniquely designed with our own special purpose to fulfill in life. Through my personal journey, this truth has been consistently reaffirmed, leading me to be fully confident in my identity without feeling inferior to anyone else.

Meet Chantelle Douglas, the brains and beauty behind Write For You Media. From her humble beginnings in digital marketing to now reigning as “The Queen of Digital Marketing,” Chantelle has been on a mission to empower business owners in the online realm since 2016. Her magical touch has sprinkled marketing stardust on over 2K women entrepreneurs and countless business owners, both virtually and one-on-one. A proud HBCU graduate from Southern University & A&M College, Chantelle shines a spotlight on black business owners, especially Black Women in Business, through her local networking gem, Black Women in Business-Northwest Louisiana.
When she’s not weaving marketing spells, Chantelle is a supermom to two boys, with another little prince on the way. Juggling business, parenting, partnership, and homeschooling like a pro, she lives by the motto of chasing after your dream life, becoming the best version of yourself, and dancing to your own tune. There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Taking accountability, focusing on self-development, and practicing patience have been vital for my success as a business owner and in personal growth. It is crucial for anyone aiming for business success to acknowledge their current position in life, understand their journey, and set clear goals. Seeking support is essential to navigate this path – whether through counseling, therapy, coaching, or personal development classes. Additionally, patience is the secret ingredient that adds the perfect touch.
