We were lucky to catch up with Chantrel Luckie recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Chantrel, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I discovered my purpose over 20 years ago when I entered the healthcare field. Through my work, I’ve helped individuals with activities of daily living—supporting them in doing things they could no longer do independently. Over time, I began to reflect on how their health situations might have been different with different life choices. As I faced a health issue of my own, I started researching ways to improve my own well-being. While I’ve always loved helping others, my purpose became clearer and more meaningful as I continued to support others while working to heal myself.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My name is Chantrel Luckie, and I am 42 years old. In my early 20s, I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids. I started researching natural ways to heal myself, but ultimately had to undergo a myomectomy. Doctors told me the fibroids would likely return within a few years. That experience sparked my dedication to understanding why I developed fibroids in the first place and how I could prevent them from coming back.
Through research, I learned valuable information about women’s health, which led me to want to help others. I founded Sacred Curves and Wellness—a business focused on educating and encouraging people to eat properly, detox, and take breaks from certain foods to maintain better health. Yoni steaming has played a big role in supporting my reproductive health and helping me avoid further surgeries. I also recommend Seamoss gel as a great starting point for people looking to improve their health through diet.
A few years ago, I became a certified body sculpting technician. While working with clients, I discovered a deeper need in the community for guidance on eating healthy. This inspired me to post 7-day vegan challenges on social media and work one-on-one with clients to help them achieve better results through both body sculpting and nutrition.
I’m always excited to talk to customers and potential clients about making small, realistic changes to improve their health. I’ve learned that people often feel overwhelmed when trying to change their habits, so I focus on offering practical, manageable tips. I’m not perfect, but I share what I’ve learned to support others on their health journey.
Currently, I’m researching and sourcing products to sell on my website—tools that will help people make simple, meaningful changes toward better health.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Researching my health issue, wanting to make a change, and actually implementing those changes were the most impactful parts of my journey. If you’re just starting out on your path to better health, take time to research and learn from others who’ve faced similar challenges. Don’t give up—keep trying and stay committed to the process.
How would you describe your ideal client?
An ideal client for me is someone who is ready to make a commitment to a healthier lifestyle or is just beginning their wellness journey. They should be open-minded, motivated, and willing to do what it takes to see real change.
