Hi Charlene, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
From the age of seven I began receiving messages from the spirit world. Having the ability to receive this information led me to my calling. I decided to be of service as a counselor and later became a spiritualist minister. Many people come to me and ask what their purpose in life is. I respond with it is between you and your higher self to decide. However, your astrological chart at birth describes in detail why we are born and where you will live in the north, south, east or west. Your chart also describes the significant relationships by sign and year they will arrive. Your chart also will describe how many times we will marry if at all. The natal chart describes our spiritual, mental, emotional and physical journey on the earth plane. It is a map of our karmic lessons and talents we have gained from other lifetimes that bring us back once again. I learned about my chart beginning at the age of eleven. When I turned eighteen, I found a professional Astrologer who gave me private lessons weekly for four months. I knew then what my purpose was from the years of studying charts of others what I want to do with my life and abilities.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I have been a certified professional astrologer and psychic medium for more than forty-five years. I have worked on missing and murder cases in the US and Canada since 1989. My work as a medium has been able to help thousands with loved ones who have crossed over receive messages that are comforting and life changing. One client who came in wanted to hear from loved one on the other side. In her astrological chart it showed she was raised by her grandparents and that her mother was not well and perhaps was institutionalized. I knew she wanted to hear from her grandfather who raised her. As I held her hand and began saying the “Lords Prayer” her grandfather was standing there but another young man appeared and told me he was Rickey her cousin who was not on her list of names. He said he grew up with her and they had cornflakes for breakfast in the morning before going to school together. He was twenty when he was in his truck driving and was hit head on by another truck and was killed. He used to jump out and spook her with hide and seek. One time he jumped behind her from and high tree and almost broke his leg in doing so. He wanted her to know he was around and loved her because he did not know that would be his last day. She used up a whole box of Kleenex as I relayed this message from her cousin Ricky who was not on her list but came in anyway. She was profoundly touched by her session as her grandfather waited patiently to step in next to speak to her. I have for thousands on radio shows across the US and Canada over the last forty years. I have appeared on Fox News predicting the tsunami to hit Japan just hours before in March of 2011. I offer sessions on Zoom, by phone and in person. I record the sessions and send them to your email to listen to again as I document my work. I have monthly “Stand-up Clairvoyant Sessions” on Zoom called “Spirit Pep Rally” for those who would like a message from the other side. My work over the last few years has increased in house blessings and helping homeowners cleanse their home of ghosts and unwanted spirits. I present classes and workshops online as well. My work has also been as a travel writer and columnist for various publications over the last thirty-five years.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Many of my teachers where twenty years older than me. They were professionals and became my friends as well. I learned a great deal from them in marketing my business and joining organizations beyond my field to learn about the city I lived in and who runs the different events in my area as well as nationwide. Having been given my own radio show back in September of 1988 on WDUN Am Radio Station I was invited by listeners to meet for lunch. One man asked me to lunch to learn more about what I do. He asked me if I would be interested in giving a presentation to his Rotary club a group of men who meet each week at Gainesville College on Wednesdays for lunch. He said they could not pay me, but I would receive a free lunch. I did not live in Gainesville, but Atlanta and I drove up twice weekly for the radio show which did not pay either, at the Holiday Inn for an incredible lunch buffet. She and her assistant ran a place for migrant farmer workers in Gainesville, Georgia which at the time was the largest poultry area in the country. They said their boss was away on Mondays and if I needed an office to do readings after the radio show that I could come there. I said are you sure this is, ok? They said they would book my appointments for me, and they did. The spirit world always watches out for those of service. I went every week with no pay for gas to come to the radio station and was given incredible opportunities which surpassed my expectations. I was truly. amazed and blessed by the people of Gainesville, Georgia. Many times, you will be asked to do something which does not pay but puts you in front of many people sharing your knowledge or gifts. My tag line is:” Without commitment there is no advancement” Spiritually speaking there is no greater advancement than being of service.
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
The most amazing person in my life in helping my business move to the next level is named Michael. I will leave out his last name because he has helped thousands of people. He came for a session, and I did not know who he was at the time. My guides had told me years before meeting him they would send someone to help me with my business and I said I would keep working harder. His chart has many connections to mine, and I knew from his aspects that he would be important to me. I told him things about his business that were critical at his first session. I told him there would be a flood in New York that would delay his contracts from coming in until mid-November in 2012. The session was on October 3, 2012, and I told him on October 26, 2012, the full moon would cause a great flood in New York delaying his contracts and to move money markets now to prepare for this delay. On October 26, 2012, Hurricane Sandy hit the northeast coast flooding New York and delaying his contracts for renewals until November 15, 2012. His company made millions every day. How much do you think he saved knowing this information three weeks in advance? Well, he helped me more than anyone ever has with my business. I did not have the financial means at the time to increase my marketing or add the shopping cart to my website. He came into my life when I really needed. help. I asked two weeks before he came to my guides to please send me some help. I have done everything that I can think of. If there is someone you can send, I would greatly appreciate it now. The spirit world will send help if you ask and believe. It was 2006 when my guides told me they would send someone, and I said I would work harder. Michael told me he knew about my work in 2006 and he always wanted to come see me. He did not know why he waited so long but had many questions about his work. So, he decided to come right after I put the request out to my spirit guides for help. Michael is a twin and very psychic he calls or texts me right before I text him and he can be anywhere in the world and does this for me. If I do not understand something I can ask him he always gives great advice about the world issues and finance. He is my living angel, and I am so blessed to have him as a part of my spiritual family.
