CHARLOTTE, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

I keep my creativity alive by continuously seeking inspiration from various sources, such as art, architecture, fashion, and nature. I also challenge myself to experiment with new materials, techniques, and design concepts. Collaborating with diverse professionals and staying updated on industry trends further fuels my innovative approach throughout my travels and origins .

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

As a luxury interior designer, I specialize in creating bespoke spaces that marry elegance with functionality. What excites me most is the opportunity to transform a client’s vision into a tangible reality, infusing each project with sophistication and personality. My brand thrives on attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the seamless integration of artistry into everyday living.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Three impactful qualities in my journey are:
-Creativity: Constantly nurture your creativity by exposing yourself to diverse experiences, experimenting with different styles, and staying open to new ideas.
-Communication: Develop strong communication skills to effectively convey your vision to clients, contractors, and collaborators. Practice active listening and articulate your ideas clearly and persuasively.
-Business acumen: Understand the financial and logistical aspects of the design industry. Learn about budgeting, project management, and marketing to ensure the success of your projects and your business.

Advice for those starting out:
Cultivate your creativity through continuous learning and exploration.
Hone your communication skills by seeking feedback and practicing effective communication in various contexts.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was instilling a strong work ethic and belief in the importance of pursuing my passions. They encouraged me to follow my dreams to work in the USA, supported me through challenges, and taught me the value of dedication and perseverance in achieving my goals.
