Chauncey, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

My optimism comes from many sources, such as my beliefs, personal experiences, and outlook on life. I believe in the power of positivity and the importance of having a hopeful mindset. I have also seen firsthand how optimism can lead to better outcomes and improve overall well-being. Additionally, I choose to focus on the good in people and situations, which helps me maintain a positive attitude even in difficult circumstances. Ultimately, I believe that optimism is a choice and a mindset that can bring about a more fulfilling and joyful life.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

As a tattoo artist and the owner of a tattoo studio, I believe that what makes this profession exciting and special is the opportunity to be a part of someone’s journey towards self-expression. Creating custom designs that hold personal significance for my clients is a truly rewarding experience. The ability to connect with people on a meaningful level and help them bring their ideas to life through art is very fulfilling. Additionally, being a part of the tattoo community and constantly being inspired by the creativity of fellow artists adds to the excitement of this profession. Overall, the transformative power of tattoos and the chance to be a part of a memorable and impactful experience for my clients is what makes being a tattoo artist and studio owner so special to me.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back on my journey, I believe that creativity has been crucial in setting my work apart and creating personalized designs for my clients. Strong communication and design/marketing skills have also played a significant role in building relationships with clients and understanding their needs. Additionally, having a solid crew/team has been essential in running a successful tattoo studio and growing the business. These qualities have played major roles in shaping my journey as a tattoo artist and studio owner, allowing me and my team to bring unique and meaningful tattoos to life for our clients.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

One of the most impactful things my parents did for me was to always encourage me to follow my passions and pursue my dreams. They never doubted my abilities and always supported me in whatever path I chose to take, empowering me to believe in myself and strive for success in all aspects of my life. Their unwavering belief and support in me has been a driving force in shaping my confidence and determination to achieve my goals.
