We were lucky to catch up with Chea Andrea recently and have shared our conversation below.

Chea, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

Honestly,I didn’t find my purpose—my purpose found me. I didn’t realize that my entire life I was walking in my purpose unintentionally. As a young girl I was using my light to inspire others through my talents. I was highly involved in my community through organizations such as Girl Scouts and my church. I was a high achiever in school. My parents instilled very important values in me at a young age and always supported all of my endeavors. All of this stuck with me through my adulthood.

It was through deepening my relationship with God that I began to fully understand the unique gifts and passions He placed within me. There was a season in my life where I felt stuck after graduating college, constantly searching for meaning and direction. I had achieved so much, but still didn’t feel totally fulfilled. Sometimes I felt as if I was just going through the motions, but as I continued to lean into my faith, spend time in prayer, and truly seek God’s guidance, things became clearer.

God showed me that my purpose wasn’t just about what I wanted to do, and the things I wanted to achieve.. those were just the perks. Every step I’ve taken since has been driven by a desire to uplift, inspire, and empower others—because I know that’s what He’s called me to do. It gives me the fuel to keep going. My journey is still unfolding, but I now move forward with confidence knowing that my purpose is rooted in something far greater than myself.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a passionate content creator and entrepreneur dedicated to empowering women to embrace their full potential. With a focus on fashion, travel, beauty, lifestyle, and personal growth, I use my platforms to inspire confidence, and share faith-centered strategies for success through sharing life experiences and humor . Through my work, I combine creativity with purpose, proving that women can be bold dreamers, unwavering in their faith, and unstoppable in their actions.

Currently, I have the pleasure of working with a variety of brands in multiple capacities, including as a model for SHEIN. This unexpected opportunity was the spark for my journey to becoming a full-time entrepreneur. I didn’t have a real plan, an agent or thousands of followers at the time. Just a girl getting dressed and taking pictures for instagram for fun. To give you a bit of backstory, I was an MBA graduate who, in a twist of fate, became a bottle girl. It sounds wild, right? But at that point in my life, my only focus was money. When I was laid off from my corporate job, I found quick work at an Atlanta nightclub. The pay was unmatched—some nights I made as much as my bi-weekly paycheck—but the experience came with its own heavy toll. Though my life seemed ‘lit,’ I felt a deep sense of emptiness and unfulfillment. I knew I was capable of more, but I wasn’t yet working toward it.

After three years of highs and lows, I finally made the life-changing decision to walk away from that job. The tipping point came when I was physically assaulted while working. Although that moment was my breaking point, I had known for a long time that I should’ve left. I had become so good at ‘toughing it out,’ but God gave me a reason to never return, and I took it.

Making the decision to leave, to trust in God fully, and to step into the unknown truly transformed my life. Since then, I’ve had the honor of working with countless prestigious brands as a content creator (Hanes, Walmart, Aunt Jackie’s, etc), investing in my marketing consulting business, and using my experiences to write a book that I’m incredibly proud of. My journey has been full of lessons, but every step has been worth it.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Resilience – Life is full of challenges, and being able to bounce back from setbacks is essential. My journey from corporate work to nightlife and then entrepreneurship required me to constantly adapt and keep moving forward, even when things got tough. Resilience has allowed me to trust the process and stay focused on my goals, no matter the obstacles.

Creativity and Innovation – As a content creator and entrepreneur, thinking outside the box is crucial. Creativity fuels my content and business strategies, and it has been a key factor in helping me connect with others and build a personal brand that resonates. Innovation is about staying ahead of trends and finding new ways to provide value.

Faith and Trust in the Process – Faith has been the driving force behind every decision I’ve made. Trusting that God has a plan for me has allowed me to take risks, let go of what no longer serves me, and take bold steps toward my purpose. Faith provides the foundation for perseverance and the courage to keep going, even when the path ahead seems uncertain.
