Cheryl, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

How I found my purpose was by spending time alone with God. In those moments, God made me realize that I cannot walk in my purpose alone. God has guided me by allowing life to make me surrender to him and let God take control.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am the Owner/CEO of my brand, Be Kurvy. October 2024 will mark 10 years that Be Kurvy has been around. This year, I made my husband, Jonah Meyer Co-Owner/CEO of the brand. Be Kurvy is known to cater to women sizes xs-5x. We have created a Male Collection, Jewelry Collection, Kids Collection, and Shades/Frames Collection. Be Kurvy also took the opportunity to expand inside of Painted Tree Boutiques-Cincinnati, OH. The specific location is booth G5. They are open Monday-Sunday 10am-8pm.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Three skills that were most impactful in my journey were: being able to network with other business owners, stepping out on faith when it came to major decision making, and being persistant with going after goals for the brand, Be Kurvy. The advice that I have for those early in their journey is to never give up. Make sure your business involves God too. I encourage others to even stay POSITIVE when life circumstances come your way.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal client is someone who loves fashion and loves to look confident. The items that Be Kurvy carries allows one to look and feel every bit of CONFIDENCE.
