Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Cheryl Murphy. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Cheryl, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I grew up in a Military family so the work hard ethic was instilled at a young age !

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

being a talent agent takes persistance and have good eye for scouting new talent. The world of entertainment is always changing so you have to be able to keep up and keep going !

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I great up in show business so I know and understand both sides of the camera so to speak. I feel that is what makes me a good Agent to know what it takes to get there and all the hard work.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Always looking to collaborate and team up…. there is NO “I” In team so collaborations are important! In this business nothing is easy by yourself. In the film and TV industry it is hard finding the right partners to finance a project and then follow through. I am producing some film projects right now with a known writer / director and it is still not easy. So YES anyone out there who has the right resources to bring the funds.. Let’s talk Biz !
