Meet Chey

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chey. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chey below.

Chey, so happy to have you with us today. You are such a creative person, but have you ever head any sort of creativity block along the way? If so, can you talk to us about how you overcame or beat it?
I’ve overcome creativity blocks by taking the necessary break from what’s causing the block . For example if I can’t think of any ideas for content I’ll take a hiatus from specific social media platforms or work on something totally different like planning my cocktail class or doing more research on an upcoming event.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Hii! I’m Chey(shy) and I’m a bartender based in Atlanta,Georgia. I’ve been bartending since 2016 and started my own business in 2018. Since then I’ve went from solely selling specialty drinks to bartending private and big events . I’m even in the process of planning my first cocktail class. I started ATL Big Kids because I’ve always had a passion for mixing and I also love the reaction I get from customers when they try my drinks. ATL Big Kids is all about catering to your inner child with candy and fun decor while delivering tasty beverages for your event.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The qualities and skills that were most impactful to my journey was Consistency, Perseverance, and Faith . The best way to develop or improve your consistency is to make a plan everyday that you’re going to take a few minutes out of your day to work on that said journey whether it’s posting ,brainstorming ideas, or just doing research. For perseverance is to NEVER give up and to not worry about the outcome. What is meant for you will work out just for you. And for Faith ask whom ever you believe in to guide you along every step until you get where you wanna be and while you’re asking remember to thank that higher power for where it’s already brought you and taking you.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
My biggest area of growth would be me putting myself out there more and gaining the confidence to do so. In the past 12 months ,I’ve started reaching out to more people , showing myself in more content and networking at all events
