We recently connected with Cheyanne Forgatch and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Cheyanne with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I have been very blessed to have been raised by both a Mother and Father that had incredible work ethic.
My father owned his own business and my Mother was a stay at home mom until we were old enough for her to work outside the home.
I learned at a young age that the only way to achieve my goals and be the person I wanted to be, was to work harder and smarter than anybody else.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
As a gourmet marshmallow maker, my days always have a creative spin!
My staff and I spend spare time coming up with new flavors and delicious treats that everyone loves.
There is just something exciting about coming up with new flavors and ways of using everyday ingredients that many people would never even imagine!
We are very seasonal and local. We try to use as many locally sourced items as possible and do not do flavors out of season..
You will not see pumpkin in summer just like you will not see blueberry in winter!
We are getting ready to roll out of s’mores bar for weddings and events!
You will now be able to offer the fun of a custom Artisan Marshmallow s’mores bar at all of your events!
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
For any journey, I believe you need to be fearless! You need to be able to take risks and plan accordingly.
It’s always wise to know as much as possible about the field you are getting into and how to implement you plan and what to do when and if that doesn’t work.
Numbers are definitely always key in any business. Knowing your numbers is the best way to ensure things stay on track.
Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My idea client is someone that understands and looks for quality. They know how much time, effort, energy and money go into making and presenting a quality product.
My idea client also likes to have fun and knows that life is short, do what you love and makes you happy.
