We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chloe Vaughn. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chloe below.
Chloe, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
I truly don’t think anyone overcomes imposter syndrome. We all have moments of am I doing the right thing am I really this smart am I capable. the main thing I have to remember is that someone picked me for the role. If I want up to par I wouldn’t have been chosen and I think that’s something we should all keep in mind when we have here opportunities we think we’re to small for. Someone believes in you and your talent and that honestly enough.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am the chief marketing officer at view park records.
What’s special about my role is helping independent artists live off their passion of Music. So man Artist out there making music and have no clue how much money or opportunities they’re missing out on by not understanding their business. That’s what view park records focuses on we are not only a record label but teachers of the craft of business and how that’s needed to make your mark in the music industry. We’re super excited for our artists on the team like Waddy,Maur kii and NURD all independent artist who we have taken under our wing and helping them navigate a path toward financial independence with their music. We’re in the process of our roll out for Maur kii and his new song options that’s available to stream on all platforms.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Mentorship, networking, and reading were three qualities and skills that I know have helped me in my journey. I would be no where without mentorship and having knowledgeable leaders in my field giving me advice on music business and helping out when I need an extra boost or tapping into their connections for me. Networking was another main factor because as much as we look for help we also need to be looking at who we can help. I promsie you I have gotten far by just asking someone I wanted to work with how I could help. The smallest task people will be appreciative and you might can cash in on a favor someday. Always be a need instead of needing a favor.
Also reading the industry is forever changing and it helps when you keep your head down and study what’s going on in the world around us. We might see a whole missing and figure out a way to fill it and that’s better in the long run for everyone.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
