Meet Chris Court

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Chris Court a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Chris, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

Chris, a skilled audio producer since the early 2000s, is not only the show’s host but also a talented musician who has written numerous songs and played in original bands. The podcast is a unique blend of underground music, comedy, arts and entertainment. Matt Skrobutt joins Chris as the co-host, adding another layer of wit and charm to the show.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

The Chris Court Show, originating from Chicago, Illinois, is a dynamic podcast curated by Chris Court, a seasoned broadcaster with a passion for independent music. His podcasting journey began in 2011 after attending broadcasting school, following a history of working with various Chicago radio stations in the early 2000s.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Being affluent in radio and podcasting, being your own producer for audio and video and having a niche.
