Meet Chrissy Cetwinski

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chrissy Cetwinski. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chrissy below.

Hi Chrissy, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My work ethic has evolved over the years. My Grandfather was a business man. Many family and friends are also entrepreneurs. My late husband, Nick, was a hard worker himself. Sick, tired or both, he would ALWAYS show up. Watching their dedication and witnessing the results, I know that nothing worthwhile is ever easy. I will pour myself into my craft and hope that the love and attention to detail I put towards it reflects in my work . Work hard, play hard. Always my motto.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
As a child, I was always enthused with cooking and food. From the senses of sight, taste, smell, down to the science itself of cooking. Why certain flavors meld, why certain heat will produce certain results. Food brings everyone all over the world closer together. I have the honor to be apart of many peoples most important days and share with them all things that make up our lives. Birthdays, babies, weddings and even memorials.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
If i had to choose 3 impactful ethics:

Leadership= I strive to always be fair, empathetic and authentic.

Product knowledge= The lust to learn new and different foods from all cultures is a must. Always be willing to try new things to evolve your repertoire.

Love= I pour my heart and soul into my craft and love of cooking, Ive been told people can taste the passion in my food.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
I lost my best friend and husband of 23 years. Not only was that a huge loss and change, its also the first time in my life Ive ever been “on my own”. I HAD to make it. I have HAD to put my best foot forward and remind myself to keep moving. Ive learned a lot about myself in the last year. Everyday is a learning experience. Some good and some bad. Im proud of myself for trying, even when I dont feel like it.
