Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Christian Bedoya. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Christian, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I get my resilience from my parents, hands down. Watching them build a private practice from the ground up was one of the most formative experiences of my life. They started with nothing and through relentless hard work and dedication—not just to their business, but to the people they served—they grew it to the point where they had to move into a bigger building. Seeing that kind of growth rooted in service lit a fire in me. It made me want to not only become an entrepreneur but also someone who commits themselves fully to helping others. That example of perseverance, purpose, and impact is something I carry with me every day.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m the founder of Mindful Music, a community and educational platform designed to help artists reconnect with their creativity as an act of self-love. I work with aspiring and emerging musicians—both virtually and in person—to teach them the technical skills of music production through Ableton, but more importantly, I guide them through the emotional and artistic journey of finding their voice. Mindful Music started as one-on-one mentorship, but it’s now evolving into a collective experience with group classes, workshops, and community events that foster connection and growth through music.
What excites me most is witnessing people light up when they tap into their creativity—not for validation, but for themselves. That moment of realization—“Oh, this is who I am, and this is how I express it”—that’s the magic I live for.
Right now, I’m expanding Mindful Music into more accessible formats, with new workshops, online resources, and a community platform in the works. Whether you’re just starting out or reigniting your artistic spark, this space is for you. My mission is simple: to help people make music they love, and in doing so, love themselves a little more too.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are dedication, wonder, and perseverance.
Dedication gave me the structure I needed to show up consistently—whether that meant practicing music, learning new software, or building a community from the ground up. It’s not always glamorous, but that commitment to keep going, even when things feel slow or unclear, is everything.
Wonder kept the spark alive. Staying curious—about sound, about people, about the “why” behind the work—helped me stay open to new possibilities and kept creativity from feeling like a chore. It reminded me that art is meant to be explored, not controlled.
And perseverance carried me through the inevitable challenges—self-doubt, burnout, rejection. There’s always going to be a voice telling you to quit or wait until things are perfect. But the growth happens when you push through anyway, when you keep showing up even when it’s hard.
My advice for anyone just starting out: don’t wait for permission. Show up messy. Stay curious. And trust that consistency and love for your craft will take you further than anything else. Developing these qualities doesn’t happen overnight—it’s a practice. But it’s one worth committing to.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Yes, I’m always open to collaborating and partnering with people—especially those who are passionate about creativity, community, and healing through the arts. I’d love to connect with musicians, visual artists, educators, wellness practitioners, or really anyone who shares the mission of helping others tap into their creativity as a form of self-love and empowerment.
Whether it’s co-hosting a workshop, building something new together, or creating immersive, healing experiences through sound and art—I’m all about building intentional collaborations that uplift and inspire.
