Meet Christin Forsyth

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Christin Forsyth a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Christin , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

On my personal experience being a homebound myself during high-risk pregnancy, I found out that we needed to make a change.
People have the wrong idea of beauty services.
Normally, people think beauty is a luxury service,
even the industry is designed, especially for young people.
They have forgotten about those who can’t make it to regular beauty salons or nail salons.
As a nail technician, I always ask myself how people with disabilities and poor mobility’s do.
I had to do something to help them. I figured out that a mobile nail salon was necessary but it has to be designed for people with disabilities and special needs, so I had to educate and certify myself as a medical nail technician.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m a medical nail technician, mother, and wife who is passionate about helping others.
Owner and founder of Flirty Nails mobile, the first mobile nail salon created in South Shore to help people with disabilities, special needs, and our elderly community.
many years working as a nail technician, I found out there was a large percentage of the community not getting the service they need.
People who can’t leave the house need special care.
They need someone who specializes that provides secure and professional and qualify service.
Flirty Nails Mobile is not just about nails, it’s about bringing a chance, hope, happiness, and smiles providing a personal professional personalized experience bringing joy I love.
what I do it was not easy I currently traveling to assisted living facilities, nursing homes ,Hospital ,rehabilitation places and homes everyday is a challenge but i enjoy every moment.
I offer manicures and pedicures to those that needs the most

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Love for others, empathy patience
And be open to learn and improve
Every day is a new challenge.
You have to be ready to a front happiness and sadness smile even when you praying inside always giving the best of you

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I’m currently looking for help.
we need more people like me people that love others that can serve them with the bottom of their heart.
They needs to have a license and passionate about working with elderly and special need clients, I also want to open the first fiscal nail salon for people with special needs.
