We recently connected with Christopher Bevans and have shared our conversation below.
Christopher , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Purpose is one of my favorite topics because it fuels everything it gives life meaning, direction, and drive. I found my purpose by realizing I was becoming someone I never allowed myself to be. And by “allow,” I mean stepping into something greater than the comfort I was settling for.
Purpose often requires you to be selfish in the beginning isolating yourself to find yourself. It’s not glamorous. It’s found in the crawling before the walking, in the lessons buried in your lowest moments. That’s where I discovered mine.
I believe purpose is genetically embedded in all of us. But to truly walk in it, you have to drown out the noise, let go of what others think, and listen inward. Everyone has a purpose. And once you discover yours, it brings prosperity and abundance to every area of life. What you used to chase will now begin to chase you.
I’ve learned that finding your purpose may begin with selfishness, but it always leads to selflessness. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so you must first become full. Through knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, you’ll know when you’re truly walking in your purpose because it won’t just change your life, it’ll impact others too.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m the founder of Bevans Legacy Auto Co. and Tischoo Co. two brands built on faith, purpose, and creating real impact. Bevans Legacy Auto Co. is a car rental and fleet management company based in Nashville. We offer rent-to-own vehicles, long-term rentals, and help everyday people turn cars into income-producing assets.
Tischoo Co. began as a premium toilet paper brand during the pandemic and has since grown into a supplier of barber products like disposable aprons and neck strips. We proudly support barbers, stylists, and grooming professionals with the tools they need to run clean, efficient businesses.
I also run an online store where customers can shop our full range of products and digital resources. Every product, every service, and every brand I build is a reflection of legacy turning past struggles into platforms for growth, wealth, and generational change.
Right now, I’m focused on scaling operations, expanding our product lines, and continuing to show what’s possible when you lead with structure, discipline, and vision.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, the three most important things that changed my life weren’t just skills they were shifts in mindset and understanding.
1. Understanding Energy
The greatest illusion we’ve been taught is that success takes hard work. It doesn’t. It takes alignment. Once I understood how energy works how focus, intention, and belief shape reality everything changed. Your energy creates your outcomes. When you move in flow with purpose and clarity, opportunities find you. That’s not hustle. That’s vibration.
2. Discipline Through Structure
Structure gives direction to energy. I learned that if I could organize my thoughts, schedule, finances, and actions, I could multiply the impact of what I was doing. Discipline isn’t about control it’s about creating systems that serve your highest self. That’s how you turn good intentions into lasting results.
3. Emotional Intelligence & Inner Work
I had to heal. I had to unlearn survival mode and embrace self-worth. Emotional intelligence knowing how to manage your emotions, read people, and not react out of pain was a major key to my evolution. Once you handle your inner world, your outer world starts to respond in powerful ways.
Advice for Others:
If you’re early in the journey, focus less on grinding and more on aligning. Learn how energy, emotion, and structure work together. Study yourself. Protect your peace. Once you’re in harmony with who you truly are, everything else flows from there.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
One book that deeply impacted my development is “Twelve Powers of Man” by Charles Fillmore. It opened my eyes to the divine potential within every person and helped me recognize that power isn’t something you chase it’s something you unlock. One powerful takeaway is the idea that faith, strength, love, and wisdom aren’t traits we have to earn they’re powers we already possess and must activate with intention.
Another book that shifted my mindset was “Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins. It reminded me that pain is a teacher, not a punishment. Goggins’ story taught me that the mind will always try to protect you from discomfort, but growth only comes when you override that voice and push through the resistance. That’s how you build mental toughness and personal accountability.
Lastly, “The Personal MBA” by Josh Kaufman gave me business clarity. It stripped away the fluff and showed me that mastering value creation, systems, and decision-making is more powerful than any degree. It confirmed for me that I could be a successful entrepreneur by studying, applying, and evolving daily no formal classroom needed.
Each of these books gave me something different: spiritual insight, mental strength, and business structure all key pillars in my personal and professional transformation.
