We were lucky to catch up with Christopher Sho recently and have shared our conversation below.

Christopher, so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.

I let my resume speak for me and who I am. The more credits I have from film and television separates me from my peers.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

My name is Christopher Sho and I have been performing stand up comedy for 7 years. I was on season 2 of Pause with Sam Jay on HBO. I have either hosted, opened, or featured for Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart, Lisa Ann Walter, Bobcat Goldthwait, Michael Colyar, Gary Owen, Donnell Rollins, and Tommy Davidson just to name a few. I am the house mc of the Atlanta Comedy Theater.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

A quality you need to have is to be humble. You need to be patient and wait your turn. You need to be a sponge to the veterans you encounter. They will tell you all kind of stories about traveling up and down the road. Take what you can from that. Finally, you need to practice, get the reps in. Workout rooms, write new jokes, practice new jokes, practice your delivery, practice your timing.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am very interested in working with executive producers that are interested in making films or television series. I have a large collection of film scripts as well as television script. I just need a financial backing that can produce said project.
