Meet Chruszhet Ledesma-hydron

We recently connected with Chruszhet Ledesma-hydron and have shared our conversation below.

Chruszhet, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

My work ethic is deeply rooted in my passion for delivering exceptional service to my clients. I want each of them to walk away saying, “Wow, that was truly top-notch.” But this dedication didn’t just appear overnight—it started when I was a young girl. English was my second language, and fitting in at school was tough. Making friends felt like climbing a steep hill, but I kept pushing forward.

Then came another defining moment: I became a teen mom at 16, growing up in the inner city. It was during those years that I truly discovered the power of resilience. Suddenly, my accountability doubled—not just for myself but for my baby. I threw myself into my schoolwork, determined to show that life’s obstacles don’t get to define us. What matters is how we navigate through them, and I wanted to prove to other young girls in similar situations that they could rise above.

I wasn’t just working for myself anymore—I was striving to be a role model for my child and to build a legacy that would inspire others. Every day is another page in the story of my life, and I wake up determined to write it with purpose, passion, and the pursuit of excellence.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Professionally, my focus is on scaling my real estate career and building something truly remarkable. I set a goal to grow my team to four agents, and within just a year and a half, we’ve expanded to six agents and one assistant. This journey has been incredibly exciting. After dedicating 12 years to a career as a State Government Analyst, I made the bold decision to leave that path behind and pursue my passion for entrepreneurship.

The idea of starting my own business and building a community around it fueled me like nothing else. I thrive on collaboration and the connections I make along the way. One of the most rewarding aspects of this career is helping others—whether it’s a business owner, an individual, or a family—begin their wealth-building journey through real estate. There’s a special satisfaction in knowing that homeownership can be the foundation for creating generational wealth, and I love being part of that transformative process.

Of course, being a business owner comes with its challenges, and there are moments of stress, but the rewards far outweigh them. The Hydron Group, the team I’ve built, feels like a family business, especially since my husband is part of the team. As a team leader, my goal is to guide our agents, equipping them with the resources they need to succeed. I remember how daunting it was to start as a solo agent, juggling marketing, sales, administration, and operations. That’s why The Hydron Group provides all of that for our agents, so they can focus on revenue-producing tasks and reaching their full potential.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three qualities that were most impactful in my journey would be:

Resilience – Life will always present challenges, whether it’s learning English as a second language, navigating the complexities of being a teen mom, or building a real estate career from scratch. I learned early on that resilience—being able to adapt, push through adversity, and maintain focus on the bigger picture—is key to success. Resilience helped me not only survive but thrive in difficult situations, and it’s one of the core traits that continues to drive me today.

Passion for Service – My work ethic is driven by a genuine desire to deliver top-notch service. In fact, my highest and best skill is serving not selling. I believe when you approach everything with the intention of exceeding expectations, you set yourself apart in any field. For me, this passion for service was cultivated over time, and it’s what keeps me motivated, even on challenging days. Knowing that I’ve played a part in someone’s journey—whether it’s buying their first home or building generational wealth—brings me immense satisfaction.

Leadership and Collaboration – Transitioning from a solo agent to leading a team taught me the value of strong leadership. Building a business is not just about personal success but about fostering a community where others can succeed too. Understanding the power of collaboration and knowing how to empower others to focus on their strengths has been essential in growing The Hydron Group. Leadership, to me, means guiding others and providing the resources they need to thrive.

Advice for those early in their journey:

Build Resilience Early – Don’t shy away from obstacles. In fact, embrace them as opportunities to grow. Every challenge you face will build the resilience you need for long-term success. Start by setting small goals and pushing yourself to meet them. When setbacks happen, reflect on what you learned and keep moving forward.

Stay Client-Centric – Always put your clients’ needs first. Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned professional, the quality of your service is what will define your reputation. Be proactive, communicate often, and aim to exceed expectations. The more you focus on providing exceptional service, the stronger your business will grow organically.

Learn to Lead, Even if You’re Just Starting – Leadership doesn’t only apply when you’re managing a team. It’s about taking charge of your own success. Invest in your knowledge, stay organized, and collaborate with others. The earlier you learn to wear multiple hats and manage different aspects of the business, the better prepared you’ll be as you scale.

This combination of resilience, passion for service, and leadership is what shaped my career—and they are timeless skills anyone can develop with focus and commitment.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Yes, we are always looking to partner and collaborate with other industry professionals. We believe in building meaningful relationships that benefit both our clients and the companies we collaborate with. One way we do this is by inviting industry experts to join us on our monthly podcast, where they can share their knowledge and expertise. This platform allows us to be a resource and provide educational guidance for our clients or potential clients.

Recently, we partnered with The Shutter Store and Sunnova Solar, and both companies joined us on the podcast. Not only did they bring incredible insights to the table, but they also extended exclusive discounts to our clients—a win-win for everyone involved. It’s a perfect example of how partnerships can create value for businesses and pass savings directly to consumers.

Additionally, we partner with top real estate agents across the country as part of a referral network. Expanding my network of trusted agents allows us to provide exceptional service to clients relocating or investing in Las Vegas and vice versa. We’ve sent business to agents nationwide, and they’ve entrusted us with their clients looking to invest in or relocate to our city.

For agents looking for a team, we also invite you to connect with us. The Hydron Group offers a collaborative environment where you can grow your career and focus on revenue-generating tasks while we handle the rest. If you’re interested in partnering or collaborating, feel free to reach out to us—we’d love to connect and explore ways to work together!
