We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ciarra Williams a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Ciarra, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I believe my resilience comes from a deep spiritual place — from knowing that I’m here for a purpose greater than my obstacles. I draw strength from my faith, from the lessons I’ve learned through pain, and from the belief that even my lowest moments are preparing me for something powerful.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My name is Ciarra Williams, and I’m the founder of My Pure Package, a ritual-based self-care brand dedicated to helping women pour back into themselves. What started as a healing journey turned into a calling — creating intentional self-care products that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. From herbal teas to sugar scrubs, candles, and spiritual soaks, each item is designed to turn everyday moments into sacred rituals.
What makes My Pure Package special is that it’s not just about products — it’s about the energy behind them. Every scrub is whipped with care, every candle is poured with purpose, and every collection tells a story of softness, strength, and resilience. I created this brand for the women who do it all but rarely get time to reset. I want them to feel seen, held, and reminded that they matter.
Professionally, I’m focused on expanding our reach both online and in-person. I’ve recently partnered with Macy’s for a series of pop-up events that bring our self-care experiences directly to the community. I also launched our “Reset & Reclaim” workshop series — immersive events that combine hands-on product creation with guided rituals and emotional release.
We’ve also introduced curated gift boxes like The Heart Mend Collection and The Ultimate Zen Package, designed for moments of transition, grief, or celebration. And I’m currently working on a turmeric-based skincare line centered around brightening and spiritual renewal — something I’m really excited about.
At the core of everything I do is this belief: self-care is not a luxury — it’s a necessity. My Pure Package exists to help women reclaim their power, one ritual at a time.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been resilience, intentionality, and creative vision.
Resilience has been my anchor. Building something from the ground up while balancing motherhood, a full-time job, and life’s curveballs isn’t easy — but it taught me how to keep showing up even when the path is unclear. I’ve learned that it’s okay to rest, but it’s not okay to give up. For anyone early in their journey, I’d say: allow yourself to feel, but don’t let those feelings stop you. Develop your emotional endurance like a muscle. Journaling, therapy, and small daily wins helped me strengthen mine.
Intentionality shaped everything about My Pure Package. I wasn’t just selling products — I was offering moments of peace, healing, and reconnection. When your why is rooted in something real, it becomes easier to navigate the noise. My advice? Stay aligned with your purpose. Reflect often on what feels authentic to you and your audience, and make space to reconnect with that before making big moves.
Creative vision helped me stand out. I didn’t wait for the perfect moment or budget — I used what I had and made it beautiful. Whether it was setting up a marble backdrop for content or curating rituals with meaning, I always found ways to blend heart and aesthetics. For anyone starting out, lean into your own kind of creativity. Don’t chase trends — create from truth. Find inspiration, but add your flavor to it. That’s what makes your brand unforgettable.
The biggest takeaway? You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. You just need to start — and trust that you’ll grow into the version of yourself who can carry the vision forward.
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel overwhelmed, I pause and listen to my body. Sometimes that looks like silence, a hot bath, or turning off my phone and just sitting with a cup of tea. Other times, I’ll write, cry, or light one of my own candles and do a quick energy reset. I’ve learned that pushing through overwhelm only leads to burnout — but honoring it allows me to move through it with grace.
One strategy that really helps me is doing a body scan — something I learned through therapy. I check in with where I’m holding tension and what my body might be trying to tell me. Then, I ask myself: What do I need right now? It might be rest, it might be movement, or it might be saying no.
My advice? Create a “self-rescue” list — things you can turn to when you feel like everything is too much. These don’t have to be big or expensive. It could be journaling, aromatherapy, a 10-minute walk, or playing your favorite playlist. But make it yours. You deserve your own care.
And most importantly — give yourself permission to slow down. You don’t need to earn rest. You’re allowed to just be.
