Hi Cientell , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
First of all, confidence is developmental. You have to believe in your ability before anyone else does. From working with others in the entertainment industry, I had to learn from others on how to be confident in who you are and what you’re capable of. I used to afraid of what others would think of me if I decided to start singing. I realized that no matter who good you are or how good you’re not, people are gonna have something to say so I decided to sing regardless of what others would say or think.

I am a woman of God who loves to sing, write songs, produce music and dance! I have been doing this for 10 years. I sing to be happy, I write to inspire, educate and entertain others and I produce music to create a blueprint of what message I want to put out. I’ve had a passion for music that I decided to pursue to uplift others and spread peace and joy. My mission is to promote wellness and growth in others and I can achieve that through music. I love fashion as well so I have a clothing brand called CienCity, which includes sportsbras and tshirts. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Consistency, rejection and humility are impactful in my journey. Never give up on what you believe in, regardless of who denies your abilities. I’ve been rejected of opportunities so many times in my life and now that I look back, I realized that God was protecting me from going down the wrong path. I’m independent and have creative control over the content I wish to put out and I can build my own team of individuals to make my visions come to life!
