We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Cincy Cocoa Bloggers Created by Rebecca Shakespeare Armstrong. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Cincy Cocoa Bloggers below.

Hi Cincy Cocoa Bloggers, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
Our optimism comes from meeting and working with like-minded women who want to help empower one another.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Cincy Cocoa Bloggers is a network of professional Black women who blog, influence and overall create in the city of Cincinnati and Tri-State Area. The women range in age and occupation aside from blogging. Each woman has their own story and platform sharing their personal journeys. CCB was created to illuminate the Black female creatives in the blogging industry by way of the Queen city. We also amplify the message that Black women can work effectively together. We love to uplift local businesses and partner with corporations.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three qualities looking back we think have been impactful would be when we hosted group events, we may sure the environment served as a place of relief, a place where members could feel safe and seen as well as a place where we all could be vulnerable. We truly believe that in working together, it is important that there is respect, understanding and encouragement established in our network.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
We would love to work with more local businesses, corporations, non-profit organizations as well as creatives in other states as well.
