Meet Claudia Chan

We were lucky to catch up with Claudia Chan recently and have shared our conversation below.

Claudia, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
Today at 48, I get my resilience from…

1. My faith and belief that Gods is and has always been pulling towards my calling—and the hardest seasons are to build and shape me.

2. my track record and historical proof I can ride tumultuous waves of loss, disappointment, uncertainty … to the highest of highs —and be whole

3. My passion for personal and spiritual growth … when I am not in a good place, I rest, pray and listen

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Claudia Chan is a ”wholeness” coach, advisor and speaker helping individuals and businesses build success on authenticity through a method called “Whole-Self Coaching & Leadership.”

In her 24 year entrepreneurial career, her programs have impacted over 1 million by igniting entrepreneurial and corporate changemakers to solve social issues in their communities. She is the NYT celebrated author of This Is How We Rise, founder of the award-winning S.H.E. Summit conference, Champion of Innovation at UN Women, a speaker with the US State Department and advisor to her S.H.E. GLOBL NETWORK of 600 thought leaders and client history of 400+ Fortune companies from ESPN, Morgan Stanley, Bacardi, PepsiCo to Audi.

Due to today’s mental health and burn-out crisis, she has launched a coaching practice & membership called INNER CIRCLE to give people affordable access to her 1 on 1 coaching.

Her work has been endorsed by renowned leaders such as Deepak Chopra,
Arianna Huffington, Sheryl Sandberg to Eric Yuan of Zoom. Fast Company has called her the Richard Branson of women’s platforms. Clients have called her a futurist when it comes to women and cultural issues who has an spiritual ability to “get to know you deeply and quickly so that she can cast vision and pull you towards something higher.”

Claudia is a also a woman of faith. One client says: “Claudia Chan is a total life transformation tornado. She takes high-order observations and applies them in a practical way, delivering a rare combination of ruthless honesty and compassion. At a time when humanity has been traded for tech, she has infused spirituality and soul back into work. I would not be the woman I am today without her coaching.”

Born and raised in Manhattan, she currently resides in Tampa Florida with her husband and 2 children. ”

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Passion so great for what you do you could dent the universe with it

An ability to meet and connect with people—especially those that seem different from you on the outside. Nothing matters more than people and I learn so much about culture and humanity through the people I meet. This helps me innovate and create business to heal and better our world.

Communication – my nickname is the tiny tornado for how i can cast vision and pour into people in large rooms to private sessions.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
